Hi, im a member a English CP but were very casual.
Were doing a melee setup of
Tank - sws
Buffer - wc
Healer - ee
DD - th
DD - pw
DD - aw
DD - zerker
Now the reason were using a sws as a tank is because 40-85 will be pretty hard without songs or dances, at 85 the sws will change into a TK if we hit 76 by the 14th. Now im wondering if it would be possible to extend the deadline by 1 - 2 weeks as with our current play time I dont think we'll be 76+ by the 14th which means we'd have 2 buffers 85+.
Now we arent 40+ yet, from this weekend were all off and will be grinding away. I played l2 retail until c2 then went to private servers where getting max lvl without a bd/sws would be unheard of, in GoD do we need songs to get to 85?
Put an actual tanker, bladedance-sws have both songs and dances now, you only need one of them, its better you put a real tanker to tank more properly and replace one of DD melee for a BD or SWS, BD would be better because it has hex(-23% enemy p def).
If we replace the sws with a TK it means lvling til 85 without songs or dances but if we have 2 of the same class at 85+ I dont think we'll be 76 in time for the stone of destiny
1 word of advise but maybe get 1 more healer instead of that many dd's as that will matter at end game level and also maybe 1 ranged dd for the increased dps they provide ?
Item needed to become someones mentee. At level 86 or above, you can go find the mentor guide and exchange for diplomas. diplomas can be exchanged for rgrade equipment after awakening. cannot be exchanged dropped or destroyed

Mentees get enchanter buffs and 200% xp boost on top of their vitality. This, plus the 50% xp/sp runes will help you level very quickly.

So... You're overloading on dagger DD to level faster.
You realize that you will need a tank 85+ However 85- you figure that a tank will just "slow you down."
However, even with your overloaded DD, you don't think you'll make 76 by the 14th.
Also, you're not 40+ yet... so you've put less than 2 hours into this setup so far.
So you want special consideration so you can exploit the system and magically have a tank at 85+ I'm also sure you'll want to switch up some of the other classes in there because the 'Force' toggles from each class don't stack so 3 daggers would be useless together, and two enchanters would kinda fail as well.

lvl 72 now :), looks like we will make it. We didnt really play the new sever til thursday but lvling is so easy now. Also pre 85 sws is a good enough tank, played on many priv servers and got 85 with no real tank.
