The Soulshots and Blessed Spiritshots from the Exploration Packs no longer have weight.
A bug that caused the Mysterious R-Grade Soulshots from the Exploration Packs to not automate correctly has been fixed.
The item name for the Mysterious Blessed Spiritshot Packs are shown as "NoItemName" and will be fixed as soon as possible.

Hello there.I would like to ask when the account services will be available ?I know many people who have nice equipment but they dont like their character so much after awakened(i mean race or class),and with bound items everywhere its hard to make new character and be again immortal geared after so much work for twilight.I would be grateful if you could answer me soon.

Since the servers are online again I can't log in. While logging in it always go DC. Is it cuz of the high attempts of logins or simply sg ***ed up in the maintenance???? :confused:
Well done for the early server down, I was left scratching my head and wondering if NC could tell the time.
Never ever had that when it was ptp (well not when I played it on ptp). Just seems like when they try improve things for us, they actually make it worse and we get bugs.
As for the VP events... *shakes head* Lag fest and the GM didn't know what he/she was doing, they were giving the hint in white chat on Chronos :P
One last thing.. bots, why the hell should we do the GM's job all the time. I'm telling them there's bots all over talking island and their telling me to put their names, I'm sure I'm not going to sit and do this for them, reporting it is more than enough for a GM to go and have a quick look. Come on now, they are like little ants all over talking island! No wonder the server is so laggy.

What never ceases to amaze me is the ridiculous amount of complaining that goes on every time someone from NC makes a post... Even if it's just about regularly scheduled maintenance, people find something to complain about.

After all they announced in game that the downtime will be about 4 hours. At 14pm (GMT+1) So they have 1 more hours but i can't see the point why they aren't do this at night... That's SAD. :mad:

Or MAYBE it's that I understand you can't please all of the people all of the time. Server downtimes for online games have always been scheduled for the times with the least amount of traffic/server activity. If you have a problem with the downtime, you should hop on the server during peak times and complain at your community for not being online Wednesday mornings as much as you'd like them to be.

AVG, as well as pretty much all other free antivirus programs, is garbage.
Try Avast. It doesn't suck. (http://www.avast.com) And, it even has a free version for all of you who use AVG because you're too cheap to pay for good PC protection.

Everything you've just said is status-quo for the MMO industry. It's how things work, here, and it's how things work everywhere else. At least in L2, the f2p model is designed to give players who don't spend NCoin as much of a chance of winning as those who do, and in MOST f2p models, this is NOT the case.
As for them ignoring all the QQ'ing, that's par for the course, as well. Go check the boards for other games, they all do the same. Let the crybabies cry, try to take anything constructive you can from it and incorporate it into future releases/patches, and throw the rest in the incinerator.
And remember, what is an issue for you, probably isn't considered an issue to NCsoft..
Well when I'm playing L2 I DO PAY. Purchase of NCcoins means paying for the game m8. Better to admit that in this case we should get some plus for donating the 'F2P' game. SO I DO PAY so I have the right to 'cry' about the exact time of the maintenance.

I've spent thousands of NCoin since the game went f2p, and I still have a couple thousand on a couple of different accounts. I expect no special treatment, whatsoever.
Edit: In fact, I've just received an infraction for fighting with you here on the forums. I didn't complain about it. I didn't argue with Sace. I took it because I was pretty sure it was coming, and I apologized for stepping out of line. It's the difference between accepting the way things are and demanding what you think you are entitled to.

Why not just use Microsoft Security Essentials and staying away from **** Sites? It actually ranks right up there with the other good AV apps, and it doens't slow your computer down.

Avast doesn't slow my PC, at all. I don't use the free version, though.. So, I don't know if that would make a difference or not.
I tried MSSE for a while, and it seemed like it didn't catch half as much on my network as Avast.
If you're going to go with MSSE, I'd seriously suggest a couple of other programs to supplement the things it doesn't do, and you're pretty much screwed on real-time-access protections (something, oddly, AVG does as well as Avast):
Spywareblaster - Does nothing more, really, than block a ton of dangerous sites from your browsers
Spybot Search & Destroy - Gives some real-time-access protection, but not near as much as Avast paid does.
Both of these programs are available from Download.com
For those of you who might be interested in paying for Avast, it's very reasonably priced. I was able to get a license that protects 3 computers on my network for 2 years, with full program and definition updates, for $60USD...

I could be wrong but they should run more aligned with your work schedule and available leisure times. Coming to the forums to complain about the current planned maintenance cycles is ridicules.

I assure you this isn't some sort of conspiracy on the part of NC Soft (much as I dislike their management of the game over the years.)

Is it this the techonical issues that is creating a number or people to crash apon loading there clients or is this another error that will need to be seen to?

For the guy getting trojan reports, exclude your L2 folder and all sub-folders from AVG: that should fix the problem (covered earlier in this thread) :)

Obviously if you can't log in, the log in server is down, just because the actual game servers are up doesn't mean they are ready to be logged into, maybe they are testing stuff... Who knows but them :P

You miss the point...clocks didnt change yet in Europe so the times NC gave are plain and simply wrong. Server went down 1h too early following their announcment. I know many Americans dont get it but time doesnt evolve around them and Greenwich doesnt magically move 1 timezone back and forth to align with your time.

It's not that people are ignorant, it's that when you are told something by official staff your going to believe it. So when things don't happen at the times they say people get frustrated, it's just human nature. When they post something and it has an error, ie the server down time, it ought to be corrected to stop people getting so frustrated.
I know some people are a bit impolite, but and I mean no disrespect here, not everyone is wonderful at English, we have all ethnics playing the game, so what may sound impolite to us is probably not to them, if that makes sense.
As for the maintenance day, people you have to get used to it, it's been this way for years, even when it was ptp. There's no point throwing a strop over it, most online games have a maintenance day at least once a week.
Anyway we can all calm down now, the servers are up =DD have fun all!

So when things don't happen at the times they say people get frustrated, it's just human nature. When they post something and it has an error, ie the server down time, it ought to be corrected to stop people getting so frustrated.

For your own clarification, I put your replies in bold. The numbers I added myself so you can easily follow along as I address each of your, uhm, points (yes, this may be considered another "attack" since I have concluded you need your hand held when someone responds to you.)
1. My post wasn't an attack on you. The fact that you felt it was should only serve to underline the fact that you might want to consider getting some help with drawing generic online events and statements into very personal ones. Furthermore, I never said you were complaining about maintenance.
2. You will always find the complainers most numerous on any forums. When things go well, people don't bother to provide feedback. After all it isn't broken. Now, if you feel that the game has been mismanaged and that is the true source of people's complaints, then you should have stated as much the first time around instead of complaining about NC Soft providing the game with content updates.
3. At this point I did say you were complaining about the maintenance and responded thus to stop doing that. The fact is, you did complain about by attempting to defend others who were more direct in their complaints. You tried to bash someone else for laughing at them and claiming insult from it.
4. Let me give you an example of a company who truly didn't give a ****. The MMO created for Conan had threads routinely closed when the community complained about the piss poor management there and the lack of game support and content. Further inflaming matters the SENIOR PRODUCER went into threads several times and DIRECTLY ATTACKED the players and then banned them. Here, we have all these threads open with Sace providing decent moderation of the forums here. The mods here have shown immense patience with everyone who posts here. Finally, having played the game off and on since open beta, NC Soft has improved immensely over the years with their support and management. They still aren't up to Blizzard's level, but they are learning.
