As of May 23, three account services are now available through the L2 Store and L2 Galleria. You can now enjoy a character Name Change, Gender Change, or an Awakening Class Change service.

These account services are here to stay, and others will be added in the future. However, these three services are currently processed manually and will eventually become mostly automated.
As these are manual processes (direct human resource involvement) we aim for a processing time of 24 hours, however as this is only the first week doing this, please understand there may be some delays as the processing method is optimized.
Each of the account services has some rules and important restrictions--especially the Awakening Class Change service-- so please be careful to read the full details about a service before purchasing it!

Indeed the Naia crash caused some unexpected issues, but if a person wants to ask to return the purchase or request some kind of reimbursement, the support staff is prepared to respond and make that decision; please petition them (https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/) if you have concerns such as this.

A Gender Change never includes a class change of any kind. This is why Kamaels are not eligible for the service, as a gender change may require a class change in their case.

You can purchase NCoin in whatever amounts you like. You simply need to have a total of 4,000 or more NCoin balance on your game account in order to purchase the Awakening Class Change Service.
The NCoin promo is over and the winners should have received their items already. If you expect to have received rewards from this promo, check your email for a notification, and also check your game account (through your NCsoft Master Account) and click on Apply In-Game Items to see if the rewards are waiting for you to assign them. Once you assign them to a server and character they are send to the Dimensional Merchant of that server. The system only recognizes a level 1 character. If you have multiple level 1 characters, the correct one needs to be specified by the player.

Kamaels cannot use the Gender Change service at all. I understand that Kamaels that previously used the Stone of Destiny to Awaken as a non-destined class seem like an exception, but the rule remains for now. Perhaps it will change it the future in light of this logic.
I don't get it why you can't make it possible to atleast use this ticket, or make a ticket to reset awakening skills back to third class without getting sp back, so I can get my stupid old light armor mastery for Aeore Healer dual class....

It was never intended by the development team that players keep their third class skills instead of trading them in for the new Awakening skills.

A sub-to-main class change service will likely become available in the future. I'm afraid I'm not sure about dual class, though.

The page explains that this service only applies to your main class. The Stone of Destiny, however, can be used on your Dual Class (if it isn't Awakened yet).

ok this doesn't help me. Still looking for sub-to-main service; I have two toons with awakened main and dual class and want the dual class to be the main class because the main classes turned out to suck. Also one of the dual-classed subs is lvl 89 now :/

I am glad to see that the account services came back, already know a few people in-game that will appreciate being able to get stones of destiny and name change etc :)

Once purchased the service, how long we have to use ???
When you purchase the service you get an item that acts as a token. That item will remain in-game until you petition the support staff to process your request, and the item is gone once the process is complete. There is no time limit on when you need to use it by, but as it's taking up an inventory slot may as well use it when you buy it. Also, the account services are not leaving, so there is no rush to buy it now if you don't plan to use it yet.

A lot of names are taken by banned characters. Do you plan to release those names ?
I believe your friendlist and other lists will remain intact to reflect any name changes that occur. For example, if a member of your clan changes their name, they will stay in the clan and they will appear on the roster with a different name after the change is completed.
There are currently no plans to release names of previously banned characters.

In no situation does a character's class appearance change. In your example, you would come out looking like a Human Fighter with Human race skills, but having mystic stats and class.
Geez people you get 2 major things you griped for and it STILL doesn't tide you over! I for one knew class awakening change would run about $50 and so will server transfers when they are brought back. So all the toons you pushed for free to magmeld or Shilen is gonna cost you. I honestly would wait because I got a hunch that server merges may be coming by the end of summer. No one wants to take the time to read before screaming on the forums about what they didn't get or what they got wasn't what they thought.
Given NC annoys me sometimes they do try and of coarse things are expensive, you don't pay per month to play! If you don't like the price wait awhile they might run a sale and reduce the price! Buy a little coins and save up for what you want :)

there was a special C4 or C5 package of the game you could buy which had free services codes inside but beyond that we never had anything for free regardless of how long we have played the game..
the only few times we got certain things for free was either at the introduction like an event for example the main/sub change or when certain servers become near unprofitable to keep up with it's existing server population and they offered free transfers from the heavy servers to those..
Some players a few years ago depending how old their accounts were got coupons for free gender change,free name change and half off server transfers. Should be in your NC account

Lvl 87 need few days to get it, is harmful to all who play a long time and not had
a chance to choose any of the 8 class as those who had already a toon 40+
or lvl up to 76 in 7/14 days in new servers when GoD launched.

Unfortunately it is not possible to change your Dual Class if it is already Awakened.

As for trading Dual Class to main class, I can't say what restrictions there would be until such a service exists.

It's possible we may have some kind of veteran rewards in the future but I can't say if that would be related to NCoin, account services specifically, or something else. We'll have to see what happens if/when that idea manifests. :)

Players that had queued up a Name or Gender change that was not processed before the Account Services became unavailable are being processed. We've also seen some players with free account service codes for Name Change or Gender Change (usually from the 4th Anniversary game edition), and we are granting those requests as well.

I agree 100% Is great that we can correct an error when we did the awakening w/o knowing exactly how was the char after lvl 85 I'm very happy with this service and I hope the change dual main to main come soon. This game will be much more flexible and we can enjoy it pretty well.

The only way you could get the iRevolT name onto another character is if you delete the character that has that name now (delete the level 40 character), and then create a level one character with that same name. Getting the level 40 character a name change would result in iRevolT being put on a non-usuable name list after the service is processed.

Still no comment on this one Sace? Regarding messages about exceeding your monthly limit when buying NCoin, I do not believe it can be disabled, but this would be something to ask the account support team.

We cannot delevel characters. Any character that gets a name change will see its old name become unusable ever again. We tested deleting a character and we were able to create a new one with the same name. I'm not sure what happened in the case of Rvtz, but if you're curious, and also if you'd like confirmation about deleted-character names still being usable, you can ask the support team (https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/) for verification.
Gender change price is too expensive!! Come on... Its 8th anniversary and should be for free! Or for 100 NCcoin...

It is comical to read complaints about the fees on a service that changes the gender appearance of a virtual character. What in the world could be so important about the sex of a character? Nothing is associated to the characters abilities due to being male or female. This is a frivolous attribute that must be manually changed because you weren’t sure of your sexuality when you first made the character and are too lazy to just reroll the sexuality you think you are now.

yah that's true, you have to have a person do it so it costs more that makes sense. I did just purchase a class change ticket and the response to the initial support request was fast, so just waiting again as it was escalated.
I would just like to say the class re-awakening ticket took no more than half an hour to process. It was easy and done fast. It was a positive purchase and I'm happy to report if you do this I had no problems!

I have a good friend who did the dual path quest a sub-class (81 atm) and is unhappy with it.
He cannot change the sub with a "change sub" ticket anymore, and he used his stone of destiny on his main class.
He will want to change his sub-class awakening, but not very sure how.

The details page (http://www.lineage2.com/en/marketplace/account-services/class-re-awakening-service.php) explains what will happen. All your skills are removed except for Race Skills. You are then given skills of the Human third class that would naturally Awaken as the class you chose in the service. You then trade in the Human third class skills for the Awakening class skills through the same Learn Skill process as you see when you Awaken naturally. The process is the same no matter if you are 85, 86, or 87; you just use Learn Skills to learn up to whatever level you are.
I had the same issue with the over-the-limit thing.
When I entered my card the 1st time, it asked me to set a max on a 1-time purchase (ex. $100), so I set one. It also states that will also be the monthly max that you can spend.
I set the max-per purchase low so I wouldn't go crazy buying tons of NCoin, but then I wanted to buy more later that month and couldn't.
Anywho, I went to Billing Summary, and clicked Change Card. From there, I either simply changed the max limit to a higher amount, (don't remember if that 1st try worked) or I removed the card and re-added it with a larger limit (which is what I think I did). It was like 2 months ago, so I'm not 100% sure which way worked.

You're in for a rude awakening if you think Bartz is really a US server.
Population is mostly Euros or South Americans. It's also a dying server. I was hoping to be able to transfer out of Bartz TBH. Now I'll probably quit this game before they actually offer it.

I would have that person send a ticket and pm Sace the ticket number due to what Sace said in this thread:
Indeed the fact that the Name Change Service is currently a manual process opened it up for the possibility of human error. This situation did happen but as soon as it did we began the repair process. Unfortunately it is not a fast one as we have to dig through various logs to pull the character information that was lost. During this time, the ticket may not receive a response as there are no updates to give at the time (as the research continues but is not yet complete).
We guarantee that the character will be restored and it anything is missing from it the player will be compensated for it. Also, rest assured we are learning from this unfortunate situation and are taking measures to prevent such an error from happening again.
If you like, PM me the ticket number so I can follow it with you. For now, please remain patient, and while I understand the complaint and the frustration, I ask that the discussion be suspended from the forums until resolved as it is already a known issue, we are working on fixing it, and there is no additional information to share at this time.

Its a blank new toon with seted up proper level only. (like if you would create lvl 1 toon) No quest items either. Nothing in warehouse ... can't imagine this happening to any of my 85+ toons. Wanted to rename my little tank alt, but hell no way now, the name isnt that bad in the end :D
Please do not attempt to discredit the service based on this event. Many successful name changes have already been processed and we've already explained that these few cases of error were caused by human error and therefore are being fixed in their entirety and/or compensated as necessary. Also we are taking steps to prevent it from ever happening again, and the compensation type and method may not be the same for everyone; it depends on what we could restore, what the character was and had, etc...

You should be happy they are giving you anything to play with after creating this spectacle on the forums. All this fun stuff belongs to NCSoft and they allow you to play with their pixels.

I think what these people want to be told Sace is that they would like what they had back and not some low compensation of things not even equal to what they had. Clearly they have every right to be upset and show it. Yes it's a mistake,but not of any fault of the player who BOUGHT a service with no idea this would happen. I understand temp items while you get them their stuff back is reasonable,but just give them diplomas and say "oh lol oopsie sorry bout that". No that's not acceptable period

I hope I would not be childish enough to come on the forums and verbally flail around like a toddler throwing a virtual tantrum over some items that will be replaced (all this stuff is in a database… they know exactly what you lost) in due time.
Anything that involves humans runs a risk of an error occurring, most adults understand this concept and act appropriately.
While everyone has the right to rage, as you so state, mature individuals abstain knowing it never helps the situation. I guess knowing that your stuff is not really gone (it is virtual you see) and can be “magically” recreated with a few clicks of the mouse keeps adults from freaking out over NOTHING.
Taking my real truck to the shop is in no way a comparison to what happened in the VIRTUAL item database. (SPOILER ALERT) These items are not real and in no way represent an actual loss. On a side note, these so called lost virtual items don’t even belong to those raging about them being missing. You don’t see NCSoft freaking out over this issue because they still have a grasp on reality.
There is no need for me to brown nose NCSoft… there is absolutely nothing I can gain from speaking the truth about this issue.
Grow up, relax, and enjoy the grind…. If you are missing some virtual items go outside and BBQ for the weekend. It is fun outside in the real world if you just give it a chance.

I see what you mean, race skills (http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/awakening/awakened-race-skills.php) for Dwarfs don't list crafting. However I'm positive crafting abilities for Dwarfs remain no matter your class. I can't think of any reason crafting would ever be removed from Dwarf, but I'll ask QA to verify this in testing.
Characters keep their crafting skills after Awakening, including Dwarves' special crafting abilities.

just delete ur lvl 40 char. after 7 days go by and the toon deletes, create a new lvl 1 with the same name and then apply for ur name change.

I'm afraid I can't answer the "why" questions fully as it is up to the developers and their reasons for designing the Dual Class ability (some which are explained in the GD patch notes), and for not currently having a Dual-to-Main Service even in Korea. This doesn't mean it won't happen, but it's not guaranteed to happen either. For now, the fact is there are no plans for such a service at this time, but this may change. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

It's unfair that me, a lvl 90+ char, must delvl to 87 in order to re-awake.
Isn't the fact that we must pay 4k coins enough punishment?
I might not like my main, but losing that time I spent on those lvls still hurts.

Having different restrictions for this service was something that was considered, but that ultimately was not possible due to the service's current status as a manual account service with human resources involved. so the restriction was made so not too much ppl buy the service, not because you guys cant keep the lvl. Imagine 100ppl per server requesting this... doing it manually :S
I was actually kind of surprised you don't get develed back to 80, to be honest. It does seem harsh, however, to lose that many levels after paying 4000 coin...

It's not that simple. Technically speaking the service resets one to 87-- this is how the service was design and it's how it works in Korea, too. At NCsoft West only, consideration was given to providing more level-keep options through increased manual service, but this was discarded due to the already tight human resources. Hence, as I mentioned, it's possible we may be able to revisit this idea in the future if/when the service can be done more automatically.
I would still kill for race change, I remade into a level 90 elf tank with full TW after being turned into a 100% feoh wizard from kamael soul hound. But I STILL LOVE HOW KAMAEL LOOKS, but after having invested so much money and time into elf tank I just cant bring myslf to start over again at 86 with nothing but an unbound TW BP.

Besides a good number of people who want to change Dual Class, the NC could have a good profit from this service.

There are no plans for this kind of service.
I can't say exactly when because we are still tweaking some parts of the system, but I can tell you that server transfers is the next service we're implementing.

Well I'm going to guess that the server transfers will not be cheap. They were $50 in the past and wouldn't put it past NC to make them much more.

since i got the free transfer to magmeld i cant use my stuff. magmeld really sux, they didnt know how to use party matching, really badplayers, full of ppl that cant comunicate with u, no marketing AND LOTSLOTS of bot and rmt.

Yeah I know Magmeld is pretty bad. the economy is poor, people are very unorganized and it's really botted. Not sure if i wanna go back to chronos, I have no clan there. lots of friends if they still playing.

i did rogue on orc race because of STR of orc, but after last update DEX is very important now for rogues and orc have too low DEX.

Koreans hate cheaters, they do not ever unban ppl that broke/exploit game mechanics, that has only happened here by NCWest a few times in the past but don't count on it to ever happen again as with F2P there's no reason to unban anymore.
