Sace: Being as the korean version let all players get the items by being logged in and the drop rate was set with that premise; as we are not getting the massive ammount of items with simply being logged in, will the drop rate be increased to make up for that lack of items on the server as the event was ment to be.

It looks like the event is going to be really nice, but why the exp buff is only for lvl 85-90? Ok, i understand it's too much for the 3h buff after, but why didn't leave at least the 1 hour exp buff after 90?
bot trains will have this event covered no worries and do expect a huge influx of so called new players that will farm this event as well just like always when there are profitable rewards..
not saying I don't like the event as I do, just no way around the fact bots will benefit the most of it unless ofc GM's will actually crank up a notch or 2 here..

These will not stick around? Seems such a small window to try and xp. Especially for those that might not be at 85 yet.

I've got some questions about this event.
Is it possible to have official land rates of each items ?
My second questions is about how drop Draco eggs : Let me explian.
First i was doing mobs 1 by 1 in Swamp and drop was pretty good. Bur i'm very greedy and i say to myself " Grular, log your old friend Tyrr and make big train".
So i log a Tyrr 86 and try some palces for making big AoE.
First Sel Mahum (spot 83). i kill 4 pack of monstaers ( about 80-100mobs) no draco eggs.
I secondly test Cryp of disgrace, ~100 mobs 1 draco egg, then i go back to Swamp, i kill ~75-80 mobs 3 draco eggs.
After this i was thinking : It's about AoE skill. I try with my main to kill mobs with AoE on last hit, i kill ~20 mobs, no draco eggs (5-6 draco eggs for 20 mobs in "normal" kill).
So is it impossible to drop Draco Egg when we do AoE skills to finish the mob ?
I got the ring and summoned Agathion and hatched some eggs, I logged out and later back in and the little red dude isn't flying around my head, I tried to unsummon him and it is telling me I did but the summon button is not lit up. I can unsummon it all the time but that's it. I even unequipped the ring and re-equipped it still not working. I tried to hatch an egg with it telling me I can but the skills fail and I can't hatch nothing. Please help
Ohh yeah worry about the mp pots, that stuff is at least usefull, what really is annoying is the fact that it is simply put IMPOSIBLE to get anything else but maybe the dye's I personaly used up 3500 of those egg's and what do you know I got 1 dye and **** load of potion's..........

Will the XP/SP buff from the Shattered Egg Shells disappear on dying? Or does it persist through death? Thanks for the clarification if you can provide us with one.
I want to ask this Draco’s Hat which cost 300x Shattered Egg Shell will be deleted after this event end's?

The 300 one you are refering too is the "Draco's Hat" and has as tooltip: "Permanent cosmetic head accessory. Tradable."

Btw, can that xp/sp buff be used in instance(kartia)? Or do I need to use it before entering?
In theory, I do not think it will work for Solo Kartia, as the exp gained is not affected by anything. However Party Kartia should be affected by Draco's Blessing scrolls, as Party Kartia is affected by XP runes, vit, etc.
Let us know if you test it ;) Both my main and dual would profit from the possibility.

Did the "hot-fix" for Chronos mess up the drop rate? I'm getting much less items at the same time, in the same area, with the same character, that I was getting yesterday.
Egg bug ... when you are in town u cannot target any **** NPC or player because of the buff Incubation attention that you get even if you dont have the talisman equiped ...

What is the difference between small and large eggs? Why ppl are so eager to buy large one?
I usually get one shiny gift from 8 small eggs.
How many shiny gifts you can get from 10 large eggs?
Small Eggs and Large Eggs are similar in how you can get the Shiny Draco's Gifts (you still have to reach 37 degrees). The only difference is that you need to have a big party of 6 or more people to help incubate the Large Egg. The great thing about helping others incubate a Large Egg is that you also receive whatever they get from hatching/failing.
However, incubating the Large Draco Egg is tricky since you can raise the temperature too high and fail, especially if everyone in the group is using the agathion skill at the same time when it's close to 36. It just takes some coordination.
So, others in party get, for example, shiny gift even if they don't have large egg in their inventory

Nice event. Opening the large eggs with a party is a rather fun activity.
Though the rate for the rewards is highly unbalanced towards the Draco Potions. Not that I complain about the HP pots, but the MP ones are annoyingly useless. Seriously, 100 MP per potion? Not even my latest sub can find a real use for those.
just a question, big eggs have same rewards? i mean, 95% of small eggs give potions, shiny gift give a lot of potions too, same thing for big ones?
Yes, the Large Eggs give the same rewards. However, since you can only incubate them in groups you also get rewards from anyone else who summons a large egg.
The event is great Juji, too bad I don't have enough time to devote to it. I have played it a little at least :) Normally I play events hard,but this time I have lack of free time :)
really though I like it, keep it up. Simple to participate in, easy to get permanent cosmetic item, decent rewards possible.
the pots aren't so bad because you can spam the living crap out of them without a timer xD so really yeah they are low recovery amounts,but hey if you collected the eggs and incubated em then all it cost you was time.

I farmed for 3 hours around 3 days ago and indeed got a higher number than today (got around half the amount on same time and same monsters). I actually thot it had to do with how many people are getting the eggs.. like there was a limited distribution per hour or something, so tecnically the more people farm, the less it drops. But it's just a crazy theory of mine:)
I was suprised..cause i got 2 nice rewards from large eggs from a friend who was using these eggs ( i didnt even farm one egg back then). On the other hand..when i start open my eggs..boo! Nothing spectacular, but it's a good way to save some money for the epic poor times coming ahead. I didn't regret opening them tho, coz i was still winning something out of it. Also suprised with the quantity it droped when i first started farming. Felt like Christmas was back.

in shielen server eggs drop more in the night time. after 2.00 gmt +2 u get 2x drop rate. but if server time is gmt 00.00 how can night time be prime time?
i mean day time players get so few eggs and night time are spoiled. why is that?
last night i made 180-200 eggs in 1 hour in a place were in day time i make, if im lucky, at most 50/1h.

I don't understand why the 1 hour blessing and 3 hour blessing would deleted. I guess the argument can be made bots will make tons of adena, they already did and will on the eggs alone.. Everything else makes sense to delet on the list, but these items do not.

No, actually deletion of Draco's blessing makes sense much more than any item in this event. XP runes and vitality pots are good source of income for NCSoft afterall.

True, but they should have known this will be what is sough after, and beside you can only use them until 85-90..
Can GM confirm that the XP blessing scrolls are gonna be deleted. It's a bit confusing. The event description suggests it'll be deleted but the individual item description is silent. I'd assume it's being deleted, but some of the other individual item description do say they'll be deleted. Thanks.

I do see the point you are making and i am positive that we will get a list about what items will exactly disappear.

The event has already been extended by one week (including the items) and will not be extended further. These items are being removed because they are related to the event and are either obsolete after the event is over, or are meant to be rewards that are used surrounding the event period only.
Really nice event, one of the better ones I have seen. I only wish it took one Valakas/Antharas soul bottle to upgrade that jewel to blessed (like freya jewel) instead of 10.
From what I gather no server has killed Valakas and on some servers this may not happen for months (if ever).

Thank you so much for this event! Is the best event I ever knew! I got finally my twilight armor (upper armor +6, full resists) and I have yet, at this moment 500M. I know... this is nothing if we compare with the amount of adena bots win but for me is excellent! Thanks again NCSoft you did a very good job for L2

I farm 18k egs during the event but bots farm lots, I see a dwarf fair player with name aw4ro134 selling 990k egs.... like legit player in this legit based event. Giran have more than 10 a3wr418rrfn dwarf shops with lots of egs...

yes, but when all items are bound to specific chars he only gets a benefit on each character individually which doesn't give him much advantage over everyone else.
it's completely different level when you can farm i.e. pots on many characters and give them all to one char or just sell them.
Legit players can never compete with the bots. Either you deal with it or you rage quit. Don't worry so much about others, just do what you need to do for yourself. So you didn't make a billion adena, so what neither did I. Real life and work got in my way..boo hoo.
Farming events are now (Tauti drops ftw), probably, the only way for new players to earn adena for better gear. Especialy when old/rich players are so crazy to get new epic :D.

The game shouldn't have farming events to begin with.
Old/rich people are already getting 20x more what you are getting so it makes not much diference to begin with, you're still poor as a new player.
You might have beter gear, but the guy who was in ur condition before, now has epics and OEd gear, so you're pretty much in the same situation as compared to before, regarding competition.
Another event farmed by big bots. Events based on hunt to drop will ever proliferate the bots. A fail event, again, extended fail.
I'm also wondering myself why they never implement an event which doesn't require farm or pvp.
The AOE players always have more to gain, the bots have more to gain and in case there is a pvp event (ceremony of chaos) the high levels always win.
By normal playing during this event I collected about 300-400 eggs while bots where farming AOE areas like sell mahum grounds 24/7.
Why no one is checking those areas? It's infested with ISS bots.
And for the love of GOD stop adding NPC in already overcrowded areas like Aden square.
In aden you have the biggest market and on top of that you have the kartia instance in the middle of it and monument of heroes, right next to it..and campaign manager nearby, and clan quest NPCs , right next to them..and mentor guide, and adventurer helper and guards captain, and dimensional merchant, and auctioneer
It's a big town, just like you put pet manager in outer ring, move some of the NPCs too.
Hundreds of instances in the same time, hundreds of shops in the same place, another couple of hundreds of active players running around spamming skills/pet/agathions/raising eggs.
It's like having a siege area 24/7. It can't be good for the server, it's obvious the server crashes in peak times. Some decent organization of NPC can't hurt.

Not really but I see your point. You just saying - no events when few dozens or few hundred boting players geting tons of items/adena. But legit players benefit from event too. We need "more" effort from NCWest to ban those bots not to make events not farmable...
New player don't want to compete, he just want better gear to lvl up faster, he need adena for teleports, solshots, few BREZ etc and with enent like this one he can now. Without new players L2 will die sooner or later.
:mad: First I wanted to congratulate the event that really was very profitable for people who ha times not able to get anything in the game Adena. However what really discouraged me in this whole story and that even if I join all that money invested in these last months Ncoin earn close to what the users of bot managed to gather at this event. Are without any exception all billionaire. Yes billionaire with money we do not know if next year with a game like Lineage playing correctly. Sometimes I wonder what the output to make money as these people of certain clans (big clans) can win and do not think any response pleasant. In some cases I got to hear from people that this event could have more than 12 bots every day picking up items from this event. The only resolution that currently have and impossible to be good and actually playing the game properly. There would be posting this if it were only a few people, but I speak of entire clans that make money that way. Lineage will continue to believe in a better, but very discouraged with the current reality of it. :o thank you
