I was re-reading the Lineage II EULA, I remember reading something like "you may not spend money to get in game items" or something like that, forbidding RMT.
I re-read it and it changed to "You can't purchase ingame items from vendors which have noot been approved by NCsoft"

You acknowledge that You may not, without signed written consent from a legally authorized representative of NCsoft, do any of the following:

No it shouldn't be tradable and if it is I would imagine that being changed shortly. There's no difference between buying that card and getting a bonus than buying Ncoins off the site and getting a bonus(if they offered one). Personally if i was going to purchase coins I'd go for the card right now for the free item because it within my monthly $20-$25 budget for buying coins.
But isn't it lovely that there is again no detailed describtion?
Just imagine the QQ if ppl buy it and hope to sell the BEWR, w/e will come in the future, to other players and can't do that then.

This was also greatly done once with the DEAR/DEWR where you just couldn't see at the L2 store that they aren't tradeable.
PPS:
Same as with the Lucky Stones in the Store that didn't mention that you can't use them with Blessed Scrolls (and since a ninja patch also not with destruction scrolls anymore)

Well in all honesty if you've been buying things from the L2 Store you know none of it is able to be traded. And you know in the past if it somehow was it was usually changed. I would apply some common sense when buying things from the L2 store. Further more I personally don't buy anything I don't use the moment I buy it. If you chose to buy items in mass quantities to stock pile or save you should consider the fact that NCsoft can change those items as they see fit, not that I agree with it.
Really if the bonus scroll is tradable then obviously it's sort of an exploit or a loophole into RMT based on a mistake by NCsoft. If some person wants to go out and buy 100 ncoin cards for the sake of selling destruction scrolls,well more power to them in my opinion. I can't stop them or do anything about it.
Ok I have done some phone calling and have discovered a Gamestop in Canada has a large amount of 30 and 60 day time cards. Are the time cards nearing end-of-life cycle since now we have a new coin card? Should I wait for a few days to allow the new coin cards to propogate to all Gamestop / EB Games stores in Canada? If I were to purchase a 30 or 60 day time card would it still be honoured or has the Ncoin card totally replaced the old time cards? I would appreciate an official response, since I would LOVE to help support this game a little bit by purchasing either a time card now, or I can wait, and buy the new Ncoin card.
I bought one today,but be advised if you go in the store you might have to ask for them. they were not on the rack with other virtual currency cards. Before you walk out be sure to ask the cashier first!

Correct. NCsoft Game Time Cards, and NCoin Cards are not the same; they give different kinds of serial codes, and only NCoin Card serial codes will grant you the bonus.

i say that because when i look at this card, it tells me NC Soft only cares about people living in the US and descriminate the rest of the world, since i for instants, live in Portugal and cant get a Blessed EWR since i cant buy a card... gr8 job NC Soft... dont find a way to get the rest of the players beeing treated the same way because its not needed!

Well you are playing on servers based in the US. These are NCwest servers so yeah the cards would be available in a US store only.
Sace & JuJi as a suggestion for futures Ncoin Cards please take in consideration this
1. Put them in a the ncstore or offgamers.com, where people from the whole world can participate/buy.
2. I dont know if u ever hear about the blackberryworld (its a store) or the googleplay from android and so on, there you can buy some applications to GIFT them who you want; of course this its not an aplication store but take that idea just like them i.e:
L2GALLERIA
"New item Gift Pack - Ncoin 2,000" This item won't be placed in your account and can't be used in your account, you must select the server and player nickname to whom you want to gift it. (Just like the in-game emails works)
This its a good start, i mean sometimes we want to gift some coins to gf/bf/friends but since we cant share the account its impossible to do this and now with the card only aviable in US stores and nt seling them though an online store its impossible for players outside the U.S.

as if i was the only player that has that problem... somehow i see that south america has its own private servers... ur smartness is only overcome by ur atitude... remember that before GoD there was no Euro servers... so and since i have played US servers since the begining i still play here... tho i changed server and opened a new game account!!!!

Actually there was a Euro populated server with server time that reflected that and still is that server, It's called Naia. I've been here since open beta so got anything better than that? My smartness seems to shine brighter than your dumbness :)
I say THIS because it's not a fact NCwest likes US more,it has to do with the servers being located IN the US. That's not saying there won't be a Ncoin card available to you ever,it's just saying that right now it's restricted to the US because the servers ARE US.

You can't buy it online,you HAVE to go to the retail store. I had to ask for the card from the cashier. Be very descriptive,don't tell them Lineage 2, tell then NCSOFT Ncoin cards. Tell them it's $25 for a 2,000 coin card. I bought one yesterday,sent my ticket to support for the bonus item code and applied it already.

sides afaik, Naia euro players dont have access to those cards if they live out of the US so.... its the same deal if im in Naia or Chronos os Magmeld or whatever!!!!

well i wasn't actually talking to you to begin with. I don't really care what you have or don't. The promotion is separate from the ncstore so you won't be getting any bonus unless you can go to gamestop and get the card.
this was something they could easily do in the US as that store chain exists everywhere in North America, setting up something similar in Europe would be impossible..
let's just hope they will make it also available on their webstore as then you can buy it with paypal etc.
ps, @Sace: you could have anticipated these responses as more then 50% of your existing customer base is Euro.
