There will be free jumping feature like other mmo s ( aion- guild wars 2 - rift etc. etc. ) which we can jump freely while in combat or non-combat at any lvls ? I gave up lineage 3 to get released by ncsoft already ( I didn2t like lineage eternal which may come at 2014 probably -and it looks like diable 3 too... ). We will have more realistic action if this permanent jumping comes^^ we need more better cool character appearance too. In addition, I started to hate this non-stop lags all the time too ( server cause lags ) !!! Will ncsoft gonna fix it or what really ?

Probably not, if it were possible, they would have made it already. Sad but true, unfortunately, this prehistoric gameplay is one of the biggest hindrances that stop new players from coming here.
Considering this is built on the same engine that unreal tournament uses, Jumping could be possible. The unreal engine does support jumping, the thing is this game is not coded for that. *Currently*
Jumping will never come to L2, because they would have to change the whole game world. Too many spots have "do not walk past here" spots which only work that way because players cannot jump over obstacles.
Also, I personally would hate to have jumping in this game. One of the main annoyances for me when I played WoW was the constant pointless bunny hopping of other players. Made me want to punch them all in the face over the internet.
And jumping would not help in combat here in L2 anyway, because missing or hitting is not influenced by whether the other player is moving around or not (your character turns around automatically to attack unlike other games where the game client tells you "cannot see target" and you have to turn around first to face the enemy, and once an attack is triggered, it continues and does damage even when the other player walks away)

Ncsoft coders have only 1 job which is only coding and they get pay for it nicely too. Thus they should do their work I think. To make a lineage 3 takes much more time at coding ;because you start from zero to a mmo. Therefore to bring jumping system should be not so hard for pro ( pro means who get some payments for their work ) ncsoft coders. We can wait a little more I think ,thanks^^. ( this game 8 years old already - so we can wait more ). Antoher issue is server lag - ncsoft should fix it fast too.

The gravity of elmore is too high, due to this toons can't jump. In god some wind tunnels can be found and players can jump like "the incredible hulk", this is possible only because in this wind tunnels the gravity of Elmore/Gracia is null inside the wind.

Yes, it will be an MMO like Lineage 1, as Eternal is the sequel to L1, developers chose to use the same kind of view/camera as L1. There will be an open world plus instances(as L2 nowadays).

Well, as I said before and repeat, I'm still waiting for a game with GW2/Blade &Soul's gameplay as well as their very fun and balanced classes but with open world, grind and the pvp system L2 had on its golden days(until interlude).
