I've use a dual dagger sometimes and other times I've use a single dagger and other times I use a Homucklas but that's another story for when I'm buffing with an augment and forgot to switch back to a dagger, usually happens after too much wine or boredom while waiting on PvP.
I think many people use which ever dagger they feel is best. Personally I've used both. I use single dagger now, I notice better performance with a single dagger. I can't quote you all of the reasons why or cite theory but I know what I know and I've experienced what I've experienced.
IMO, for PVE dual daggers, for PVP single daggers. For everything in between a Homucklas with reflect damage augment although the augment that reduces reflect is much better for a dagger but that's another thread.
Why u +vote for single? ill do too, just look for good explain for it...
if i right ur stabs work much better.
what sa would u go for on single dagger?
so bether still go for mid/high s84 single with cd?(dragonskull/mambaedge?
or what weapon would u choose on lightelf othel?(i think about wait for an skulledge/mambaedge w/cd in ah) and stay with requiem since then...
The test did not completely tell you other factors including but not limited to the success rates of skill mastery. I have posted enough data necessary for you to decide what is the better setup. Numbers don't lie. Use the search function.
I will just tell u to read ur passive skills and think how both of those weapons will work in pvp (no hitting a npc that don't move, don't react, have no cp).
Single dagger is way better(who say the opposite or botted to reach lvl 99, or don't leave clan hall). I lol hard in soh when I see a whole pt trying kill a kunda guardian for 2- 3 mins and I land 2-3 half kills and solo it with my Girl in iss in 30 seconds xD
If u wanna cause more dmg in bosses, so yes, take some duals, coz looks like the only utility for it.

Juji has already stated that the only passives that change between single and dual dagger are the +STR and patk, everything else is always kept as a passive once you learn the skill.
So no, using a single dagger doesn't make you land more half-kills.

I admit I had to LOL (silently cuz I'm at work). I do understand his dilemma though cuz in many cases these self-proclaimed experts contradict each other. The bad part about that is that they make what seems to be valid arguments. So in the end we are no better off than before we read the thread.
In most cases I just end up doing what seems to be right and enjoyable for my play style. For the issue at hand, if I ever get one of my toons up there, I will likely go duals regardless of what the min-maxers say is best because I like the style. I think that's what keeps people playing the game - do what you enjoy as long as it doesn't go against common sense for you character.
I've seen this in another thread, very interesting info. Forgive the noobish question but I'm nowhere near that level so I just don't know but is the difference in max or average damage between a single or dual using the same dyes that significant? I see about 900-1000 difference out of 39k - 40k overall damage. It just seems to me that with averages near 40k, 1k is minor, especially if followed up with another 40k hit. BTW what is the health of a level 99 Orc Siegel knight?
I play a crapload of classes and just switch when one gets monotonous but daggers have always been my favorite and I think the one I would love to take to max level first. AW was my very first class on the original Bartz, it was my first permanent-red, my first bot/farmer killer, so I think it appropriate it should be my first max.
