I wanna know the truth about attributes. I havent played since interlude.
Does 300 attribute benefit anything in pve? I keep reading awakened mobs have 300+ resists so its no use in putting attributes on for pve. Im not sure how the attribute system works, but if a mob has 300 resist and i have 300 element wouldnt that remove those 300 resists so i would do more damage?

Yea that I understand. But if i understood the post right, you get a damage increase with atrributes on cause it lowers the target resist? Or do you have to have more attribute then the target has resists?
You need to have as much element as possible. If you have no element but your target has ~220 resist of any element then you will do 75% damage. If you have ~220 more atk element than your targets resistance to that element then you will do 125% damage. If you have same atk element amount as your targets resist to that element then you will do 100% damage.
