Maestro only crafter again in Lindvior?

Looking at the patch notes I don't see any racial "All dwarfs can craft" anymore. Does this mean that the Tyrr Maestro will be the only crafter once again?

Only Maestros can craft the new mats... if you had read the discussion topic about this you would have seen this answered 5+ times. Dwarves can still craft armor and weapons etc. Also maestro gets craft mastery for double crafts.
And maestro only gets siege golem armor! oh wait. nope. Maestro sucks now t.t

Missed that one. Just returned to L2. Good to hear that Maestro can craft the new mats, sad to hear that Fortune Seekers still can craft. And a low chance to crit/double craft? Biggie! I dare to bet that it's not even 10%...

They started to be obsolete since Goddess of Destruction all together :(

Thanks NC for killing my most favorite class...
maestro being the only crafter is a lie
all my non maestro classes and maestro have same lvl 14 craft and book
only change to maestro is one passive craft mastery "has a low chance of doubling the items obtained when crafting" and the siege golem spirit (transform)
sounds rubbish unless they decide to add new lvls over 99 and new craft lvl over 14 that is locked to maestro only. if i had a tyrr dorf on the live servers i wouldnt be inclined to go maestro. there are recipes that say maestro only but there is a version of them for common crafts too. there might be some other new for maestro only but i didnt see them.

Huh, you are back?:P Welcome ^^

Actually they do. It isn't for smashing castle walls down, but for punching enemies in the face (cit. Yidao).
That was outdated information. According to the NCTaiwan QA department, the Siege Golem's Spirit transformation has the following skills:
Master's Siege Attack - punches one single enemy in the face. Cooldown 1 s
Master's Siege Fist - an AoE attack on multiple enemies centered around the Golem, having a knock-back effect. Cooldown 10 s
Master's Siege Hammer - a cannon with a range of 600 units, can only be used against castle walls and castle gates
Master's Siege Shield - reflects for 30 seconds 50% of incoming damage. Cooldown 150 s.

This skill has come a long way since the first PTS version :)
dwarves are supposed to get an boost in the update after whats current on Korean PTS so who knows what they'll get ;)
And a low chance to crit/double craft? Biggie! I dare to bet that it's not even 0.000001%...

Fixed it for you.
Fixed it for you.
Actually it's around 8%.

You better read like Tif before making such claims ;)

Unfortunately we have no information about the skill power of Master's Siege Attack etc. What I can tell you is that during the siege of April 7 (i.e. far into Lindvior) on the Korean Lionel server (one of the two PvP servers over there) the ElkaAlliance clan used not the Siege Golem's Spirit transformation but a traditional Siege Golem, steered by a lvl 68 Academy Warsmith (http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/mypage/character/MTA2MzM2NjA=/charInfo?serverId=48), to smash the wall of Aden Castle:
http://www.inven.co.kr/board/powerbbs.php?come_idx=390&l=1041
(about halfway down the page)

There is no shortage of Tyrr Maestros in Korea:

http://www.l2central.info/images/stories/clsdstr/tyrr.jpg
https://4gameforum.ru/showthread.php?t=666140

ElkaAlliance is a lvl 11 clan with 213 members and certainly has several high-level Maestros among their ranks:
http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/pledge/pledge/pledgeInfo?serverId=48&pledgeId=79215
So unless our version of Siege Golem's Spirit is different from the Korean one (which is very well possible; remember all the screenshots taken in Talking Island Village etc.), we must assume that the Tyrr Maestro transformation is inferior to the old Warsmith Golem.

thanks for info Elmar :)

maestros were always very popular for their crafting so the statistics may be a bit misleading.
the issue is that the crafting can be easily done on alt maestro and it is more beneficial to invest all the profits from crafting into another main char.
maestro is a main-only class (aka you cannot sub it) and there was always little incentive to play it as a true main. so i'm concerned that this trend might be coming back.

before god dwarves had advantage of huge weight limit for pot spamming, now every awakened char gets increased weight limit that is big enough to carry decent amount of pots etc. but at least the difference between all new tyrr classes is not as big as between warriors before god (yet).
is there any website i can go to delivering me infos for lets say upgrading armor pieces , the lvl needed for the crafts?

You can get a first impression of the Lindvior state of affairs from the Korean Powerbook Wikipedia:
http://power.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/%EA%B3%B5%EB%B0%A9%28%EC%A0%9C%EC%9E%91%29
The problem here is that since the December layoffs it gets updated only very irregularly, whenever one of the developers has a few minutes time. Most important, the recipes for the new materials are still missing.

In the long run the best place, if you can manage with Google Translator, is Toushijing:
http://gametsg.techbang.com/lineage2/index.php?view=item
NCTaiwan has more or less the same patch state as us (they will update to Lindvior in the middle of June, hoping that in the meantime bug fixes will arrive), and Toushijing is usually up-to-date a few days after a new patch hits the Taiwanese servers :)
spent about 1hour digging both sites with google translate for the ratio of turning lvl1 weapon pieces into lvl 2 and forthon ...
That's what I mentioned above, it's the vital information that's missing in the Powerbook Wikipedia. Here is the the lvl 2 Weapon Piece:
http://power.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/%EB%AC%B4%EA%B8%B0+%EC%A1%B0%EA%B0%81

The item exists, but the recipe is missing. It was announced that those recipes would be added in May, but today is the 22nd, and we still have not one single mat recipe in the Powerwiki. I am afraid we will have to wait until Lindvior goes live in Taiwan. By the end of June you should hopefully find the information on Toushijing. Search for 武器碎片 (http://gametsg.techbang.com/lineage2/index.php?view=item&item=34990#item_detail) in the upper right corner. That should give you all levels of Weapon Pieces :)
btw if i understand correctly from this update
http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/board/update/view?articleId=543989
blessed recipes are added again, after being deleted lol, and can register with tyrr maestro. that only if i understand it right. i guess the other dorfs non maestro are left with just the chance to get blessed (masterwork craft) from the standard craft and maestro has a chance to craft 2 blessed.
its really annoying with these constant changes and devs changing up their minds.

i asked juji to give a sample for the conversion,

as it seems its for armor : 11pieces lvl 2 + 15 crafting solv. for 11 lvl 3 ones, maybe some1 can mug him to post all the conversion recipes, asked enough of him tbh ^^

Sadly no info about those scrolls fragments :(
The only information about those Scroll Fragments is that they drop in the upgraded Hellbound hunting grounds (주재료는 헬바운드 사냥터를 통해 획득 가능하다). At the moment they have only pictures of the monsters:
http://power.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/%EB%B2%A0%EB%A0%88%EC%8A%A4%EC%9D%98+%EB%A7%88%EB% B2%95%EC%A7%84
But in the past those pictures were after some time replaced with proper monster lists, linking to the drop lists. Who knows, maybe NCsoft will be able to afford hiring Powerwiki staff next year :p

no shortage? i am guessing that of those ~25% there is:
30% "pvp'ing" in giran
50% "pvp'ing" in aden
20% afk in all other towns
1% actually playing the game and lv95+
and if you look at your stats again i would be interested to know if the amount of BH's is equally raised or "popular" (shopbots/shouts/afkshops)
i am not afraid of guessing that this is one of the least played classes at 97+ and if you where to leave out the shops/crafters you'd have them equal with tyrr-GK around 5%.

edit ps: never trust a graph that doesnt give you total numbers, it will just be a guessing game after all

WoW, that will probably negate the lack of Scroll of Blessing - R99 Grade
I suspect this is a direct reaction to the lack of Scrolls of Blessing - R99 Grade in Lindvior. After all, especially for upgrading R99 weapons to Dark or Bloody it is important to have a Blessed Item, so that the success rate becomes 100%.
Well, the Scroll of Blessing is only possible to obtain from the Campaign, and since the campaign system was deleted in Epeisodion (as i heard) crafting is the only way to get them right?
Yes, that's right (apart from possible event rewards) :)

We are talking here not about lvl 1 shop dwarves but about Awakened lvl 85+ Tyrr Maestros :p

Here are the corresponding statistics for Awakened lvl 85+ Othell Rogues, showing the percentages of players in that archetype group who have logged in to the Korean live servers between January 1st and March 20 (no guessing involved; those are numbers from the server logs :p ):

http://www.l2central.info/images/stories/clsdstr/othell.jpg
https://4gameforum.ru/showthread.php?t=666140

Here is the original Korean article (I just used the Russian translation because it has the classes in English on the pictures):
http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/board/gmroom/view?articleId=539061
When you run the comments of the Korean players through Google Translator you will see that Maestros and Fortune Seekers are accused of being in their majority bots This was confirmed by GM Ishune in a different article:
http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/board/gmroom/view?articleId=535457

But my point was not the increase of botting in Korea after they went free-to-play up to lvl 85 and laid off tons of staff in December, leading to less in-game surveillance. What I wanted to show with those statistics was that there are in fact plenty of Awakened Maestros who would be able to use the Siege Golem's Spirit transformation. Nevertheless they didn't use it in that siege on Lionel. ElkaAlliance is not a carebear role-playing clan. They play to win. And for winning, the old Siege Golem is considered as better than the Lindvior transformation. That's all I was trying to say :)

i can only repeat myself and maybe add that there is more awakened shop dwarfs that you may think. i know of 8 in our clan alone (and it really is a small clan of 20 actives) that made an 85+ dorf for shotproduction along with other reasons and i know there is a lot more out there.
so the only thing that we need to find out is how many of those are actually played, as in how many percent are 95+ or even 97+

Level would definitely be more indicative of what's actually popular.

Spoke with it in ally chat already and Tif indeed mentioned 17/100 chance there. So indeed around 8%, which actually kinda surprises me. It's more than the masterwork chance we had earlier when crafting...

OMG... Craft blessed scrolls..? Now Tyrr Maestro really gets insteresting! Wanna crit that 8% on those :D
Even though the recipes for those Bless Scrolls are 100% (like when you are crafting shots), the Scrolls themselves have only a low success rate (낮은 확률) when creating a Blessed item:
http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1048&start=330#p19696
That's probably the same rate as the 5% Juji found for the Unbind Scrolls from the Campaigns:
http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=255518

So you will need to crit that 8% on those to significantly increase the number of Blessed weapons and armors on the server :D
i can only repeat myself and maybe add that there is more awakened shop dwarfs that you may think. i know of 8 in our clan alone (and it really is a small clan of 20 actives) that made an 85+ dorf for shotproduction along with other reasons and i know there is a lot more out there.

Unfortunately we have no ready-made statistics about the level distribution, which gets even more complicated through the Anakim/Lilith patch (http://lineage2.plaync.co.kr/board/update/view?articleId=538257) from March 27, which induced a number of players to make alts of lvl 85~94 specifically for farming those raids. The graphs are from before that patch.

To give you a rough impression, I searched in the Korean Character Homepages for the name 냐옹/Kitty, which is relatively frequent. This gave me 180 Awakened characters on all servers (but most of them from the Warsmith clan on Teon, purveyor of those PvP videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEbmvjdD8uo)):
http://search.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/main.jsp?query=%EB%83%90%EC%98%B9&lq=%EB%83%90%EC%98%B9&where=l2web^user&sta=&zone=&srt=rank&sid=&irc=n&gid=&fex1=&fex2=&fex3=&fex4=4&fex5=&pos=filter&site=&etc=&charinfo=

Then I selected the Tyrr Maestros out of those 180, which gave 5 results:
http://search.plaync.co.kr/lineage2/main.jsp?query=%EB%83%90%EC%98%B9&lq=%EB%83%90%EC%98%B9&where=l2web^user&sta=&zone=&srt=rank&sid=&irc=n&gid=&fex1=&fex2=&fex3=&fex4=4&fex5=156&pos=filter&site=&etc=&charinfo=

One of them is lvl 99, one 94, one 90 and two are 85 (probably R-Shot crafters). Those are all female characters, so there are probably a number of male Dwarves with more masculine names around (even though "kitty" is a gender-neutral expression in Korean), but you could say that at least half of the Korean Tyrr Maestros are actually played :)

P.S.:
For some reason the forum puts spaces towards the end of those long links. If you copy/paste them into the address field of your browser and remove the spaces, it should work.
i can only repeat myself and maybe add that there is more awakened shop dwarfs that you may think. i know of 8 in our clan alone (and it really is a small clan of 20 actives) that made an 85+ dorf for shotproduction along with other reasons and i know there is a lot more out there.

So far I know of 3 actual played (to be) Tyrr Maestros on Naia (myself included). The rest are AFK money makers for shots and most likely will be botted up for the new recipes...

Also don't forget that since GoD the Maestros that were to awaken most likely either picked Othello Rogue for spoil/craft (smart move back then) or picked a totally different class. I also doubt that many new players would have picked the artisan path at all...

My guess is that the number of active Tyrr Maestros in on the NCWest servers will be and stay extremely low.
exactly point and thx for making it this clear. the 25% tyrr pop being maestro is misleading and should be more like a 0.1% of actually played toons/mains.
