I read a Post where a Player pointed out that the problem was not NCsoft but the Network Carrier Company Level3.net. A internet sub-station in Dallas is causing huge packet losses. So Players sending/receiving data is not 100% optimal.
NCsoft said they are very aware of it as they have been investigating it since early last week. However, right now the matter is slightly out of their hands. This is not something NCsoft have control over as it is not their data centers causing this issue. NCsoft is doing all they can to contact the owners of these data centers but realistically, they need players to also report the issues to their ISP's and until Level3.net do not hear anything from their own customers, they will not have the motivation to resolve these issues.
Amsterdam>London>New York hubs are all fine untill we get to Dallas it is all [CENSORED]. 25-50% Packet Loss starting from Dallas to NCsoft Servers. I never thought of this, untill a Player brought this up in the Forum. Since I am not from the USA how can a Player from the EU even complain about technical issues from another ISP on the other side of the world in the USA?

There always has and always will be players who are willing to pay for advantage. The only difference here is that the L2 store makes it EULA-compliant. Don't think for a second that if NCSoft wasn't cashing in that those same players would be playing by the rules. They wouldn't. They'd be off spending tens of thousands $USD to OE as many +16 weapons as they can. They've been doing it since day 1. At least this way NCSoft gets a piece of the action, which helps keeps the lights on and the server hamsters running for you and I.

yep, i doubt it will be destruction/ancient scrolls, you'll probably see that more towards the end of the year to make the numbers look good for the company at year end.
i bet you it will be agathions/appearance stones/mounts that were never offered. maybe this is why the GM's had appearance buffs a few days ago and those ninja/army/spacesuit appearance buffs a few months ago was just a test. so knowing ncsoft, they should be releasing new appearance stuff just.
Juji, is the archer's deadeye stance on that 'list to be fixed'? it's been weeks since you said the dev's are looking into it and still no update. also, for the ninja outfit that people got from the 'agathion event' that has the hide skill, is that fix on the list too? it would be awesome to have the 30 sec of hide stated in the description instead of 5 sec of hide

This seems like a warning to not party ppl from Latin America, since they are gonna lag hardcore.
I like how this update finally tackles small but annoying problems like servitors sinking to the ground, and Kamaloka removing buffs.
Stop complaining people, and be realistic. Even if they could fix everything in a day, there are reasons they don't.

well i agree for the bot thing in toi/it/bs/str2/str3/h1/h2/h3/GoG/o1/o2/o3/GF/HF but i think u are blaming ppl now :P even so i think bots are being banned BUT new bots alive every day! well exception are bots in GF/HF because u can't go 97 or even 95 in 1 day :P once a while push bot report! not bad! noone does in GF or even in HF! they just trying to flag them to kill them and get the spot like they won't stand ever again to bot to the same places!
Good option is to re-activate the support in game that is deactivated since Tauti client lunched, that was giving the oportunity to talk with NC at once making it easier to ban bots like it was at awakening and harmony patches

Naia --- possibly using 3rd software players as ValianT (now huge red weapon), mostly believable he is called the king of stakatos, every room has players who are believed using 3rd part software farming 24/7, u hit them, that red weapon appear.
IceKing7 or something, SH member, together with Danceres (SH) moving their toons everywhere, those toons farming 24/7. They come to kill lowbies at raids, because they bring their toons and farming them to level up till lvl 85 faster, however now u can farm q and lvl 85 is 24 hour work.
PoD always full of bots, GF has 3 parties who farming now more than 6 month 24/7
Administration know everything about that, got lo0ads of mails abpout them looking into this...however bots still there, running and farming.
What we learned? U need adena, have good PC...farm.

Realtime info surely looks cool, but, considering how NCwest managed to mess up even the "realtime" (that is, updated every 2 weeks) castle ownership page (with just 2 servers, mind me!), I would not hold my breath.
For now, just give us the option to view the past month's ranking, that'll do it.

The real-time info about the Olympiad is available on the NCKorea website since they changed the layout a few years ago, with the Freya or High Five update. This has nothing to do with Lindvior. The Olympiad Ranking is still visible in-game in Korea. Juji is playing with a foreign visitor account on Devianne, so he can maybe confirm it.
The developers simply forgot to put back in the HTML link in the rush when they fixed the Olympiad Point calculation link a few days after it should have been fixed :)
Is there any explanation why they keep sending bugged patches, and then we have to wait weeks and weeks for the fixes (while the bugs got fixed in Korea months ago)?
