Sorry to dissapoint you but NCKorea could care less how NCWest runs their servers as long as they can pay their licensing fee to host the game that is all Korea cares about. Threatening to tell NCKorea will not result in anything because like I said they do not care, they have their own problems to deal with.
These servers have always been overrun with bots, long before Tauti was released; back in C1 there were tons of Chinese farmers already established here.
Ranting will not do anything, posting here won't do anything so if it is so bad then quit or go play on Innova EU.

about the last part u never now! many ppl u see in forums that want to start playing and asking about servers! as C1 that u are saying if i remember correctly at c5 and after since GoD: Harmony there was a bot reaper and petition system was working! now l2store/galleria working only correctly! i don't know if u have tried to go to a siege these days but believe me for noe thing! the same moment u enter siege zone the same moment u won't be able to move thx to scripts freeze! as about innova i'm leveling char here and there as well! there i have healer 96 and game has no issues on sieges for example!
Yeah, I am seeing a rise in the amount of players on Innova EU. Since I play from the USA I am seeing more and more groups during USA times playing while Euro players are in bed. :D
timezone isn't the problem mate! innova has American's as well! also the most EU players plaing at night time! day time is better to go to the beach etc than staying on a pc box :P
I have considered EU severs, I have it on my PC,but just starting over is a drag,but at least there are legit people on Innova. I guess there is positives to it.

Yeah, the way things are now, bots are part of the economy already... just check the laughable drop rate of R grade and above equipments and wonder if the people selling huge amounts of R-crystal farmed those actively. Or maybe those people selling 1000+ Gemstone-R cheaper than Mammon (7% chance to spoil ONE at Rosenia from GF...lol...)

Spoils probably npc for a decent amount, and the mobs used to drop stones in there (not sure if they still do). Plus a lot of the old areas still have much better adena drops compared to many awakened spots.

out of curiousity why all people always post things about what they dont like instead of posting things they like i mean seriously it is always like this negative comments will always dominate because satisfied player simply wont bother with posting here....
even i tried l2eu but i dont see anything good there the community there is as selfish as here if not even worse, there are also bots and RMT but more hidden and even in less numbers ok, also for me l2eu seemed alot more inactive than Naia (light vs heavy) for example based on the players around + the PTM at certain times and dont tell me all parties in PTM are bots :p, another thing woohoo better network performance on innova, duh the client of innova is alot heavier due frost scanning the PC all the time, in the end for me there isnt a better service it is a matter of what you prefer.
so even if if naia is 80% bots who cares the prices are roughly the same as in l2eu if you go drop wise and tbh i checked the heroes there just lol for me l2eu already died for having no competition at least in olympiad i mean how the hell you get hero with 50 wins from which 40 were feeded clearly impossible on naia lol

People only post negative things here because there is nothing positive about player here anymore. If there were you would see more positive feedback, but instead 95% of all player feedback is negative.
Innova EU is way better than any NCWest server and I find the community there a lot easier to get along with. Staff is helpful, bots and RMT shouts gets banned regularly, the few there are and items are much cheaper plus the adena drops are not double nerfed like they are here.
The bottom line is there is nothing good about these servers, they are controlled by bots and always will be. Unless you bot/cheat yourself there is not much reason to stay here anymore.

Clearly a very biased opinion, did you even go to pvp at all at higher lvls? Im struggling everyday against 70% of clan competition, and we just have 1 99 on clan while most players are at 99. Real players are very strong, your opinion is very hard to take into heart when you never "played" the politics there.

A chalenge is knowing my oponent is skilled to his teeth and is able to beat me down, i know i can improve cause it's humanly possible to do so vs a real player, however you cannot improve vs a script :) they improve everyday their #commands. That is no chalenge.

i get your point but i still see some improvements vs them by altering some steps i usually do in my fights even if it is vs scripts or vs real humans a step by step improvement is an improvement even if it might be little but it is just my opinion that you can improve at least until, like you said "something" is changed in their "skill bars" :p
after that you can keep your already gained experience and have to change again but well that is what i like dynamic enemies (although it is hard since i dont change from 1 match to the next one my style completely but that is my challenge to adapt and yes maybe i am biased i wont say no to this since i started on teon in C2 so whatever :D
OP should write down the names of offending characters and open support ticket with their names and screenshots. Then it gets forwarded to Game Surveillance Unit and then ... umm, nothing happens. 6 months from now you will still see those names either doing another location or meet some of those chars in party matching or at sieges.

However, if Lineage2.eu fixes all the bugs that NCWest can't be bothered to fix then its a huge improvement.

This goes back to my theory that NC West is like Linsage2.eu. Its is run by other than Lineage2 Korea. The game rights are leased. Maybe even by the RMT people. The problem is that I think the owners are incompetent and can't apply the fixes and when they try to fix one thing they screw up dozens of others.

At this point I would say the game is running on bare bones just to keep it up. There's no customer service or rule enforcement anymore. They implement the patches from korea and that is all.
Players still use those instances? I thought that was a bot grind zone only, always has been.
On a side note about customer service... they are working over there everyday help players, investing issues and banning. I know first hand, they are hard at work.

One issue is server-side, other is client-side, so this must go down to the branch itself applying patches and monitorizing servers.

So Innova has avoided this issue.
And you are of course right, it's ultimately down to the local branch to test the patches they get sent from Korea and then deciding whether to apply them or not. One problem at NCWest is insufficient testing. Juji is (at best) testing what is mentioned as bug fixes in the documentation he gets with the patches, but not each single feature of the game. This is something that can only be done on a PTS where hundreds of players are moving all over the landscape. just because you didnt have the options moved from bottom right corner to center of the screen, doesnt mean i dont have it.

Right on the NCwest we have many bots even this is why our servers are heavy or at winter times often full.
The Innova has for it the Frost to block the endless spam of farmer bots, so it is big help to GMs, they have much more time to the players, but right Frost is illegally work inside the European Union!
NCwest hasn't this kind of stuff and you see the result. But except the anti cheat issue, the GM team of NCwest is way the best team and provide fast and professional help, I don't care who what use to say, it is right.
But about the Soulshot lag, NPC lag etc, is local NCwest problem, I doubt, that it is bug. This appear time by time to some months after disappear for a longer time and appear later.
This is issue, what the NCwest should solve, but here comes the question, that do they have enough GMs to solve these issues enough fast.
It is very sure I guess, that the NCwest is much more profitable at all than the Innova EU, about the Innova RU, I dunno much, but there are higher amount of players and they have same kind of L2 store than here, so probably it is a profitable place too.
If you feel Elmar that Korean developers even visit Moscow more times than the US it is I guess right, but it is a promotion process the Innova is a service company what doesn't develop only manage the games.
So, their only chance if want to get money to make some professional promotion events, like invite important developers of the game, make discos etc.

they have a german and a polish server yes, but example the german server with its some hundreds of total population isn't a real own server.
Example, Innova eu has 10k total population with 20 staff member while we have example 50k total population with 40 staff members.
If someone has some problem this 40 people have to solve it, so if the population is more the issues are normally more too but the staff hasn't same amount to population, the service will slower.
but like i told you, general bugs like gk disappearing or ui bugs or missing quests or npc's or skills are not solved in person, those are server or client issues that dont depend on players and have to be solved by devs. if theoretically NA has more players than RU+EU (which isnt true) and has less staff members (pretty sure we have like 3 assigned to L2 and none is dev) then whos fault is that? isnt more population = more income = more money to hire new staff members?

Well yeah to be honest with you bots were present since maybe day 2 of this game, but now situation escalated very rapidly to the extreme. Since game is free to play now, anyone can create accounts in matter of minutes and start botting. NCsoft's staff is probably doing all best they can within their own rules and boundaries - unfortunately for the outsider it looks like they are doing nothing because more and more bots happily run around. The mood from community regarding this issue is terrible, as you probably see with your own eyes when skimming forum posts.
Innova has system that apparently works, plus more strict rules and proactive staff, price you pay is gray-zone (somewhere even illegal) privacy issues with Frost.

I believe that older servers (Chronos/Naia) have less bots on open areas.
Innova is using Frost which detects popular bots.
Most people don't have access to other bots (thus the unpopularity).
i thank you guys for the support so far, id be sorta lost without it, and tbh i have 2 NC accounts, i decided to put that to use, i made a char on a server with each one, one uses Bartz (im guessing lower pop = less bots but could be wrong) the other is trying out Naia, tho i havent had time to do more than initially create the 2 chars yet, gonna go login soon and see about some playing, somethin came up that i was sorta hopeful for, but then the game company threw a big fat monkey wrench at me so ill have to wait a day or 2 for it to work out, so im free now cus im too ticked at the other game atm
im on a fairly tight schedule as ive only got the rest of tonight and all of tomorrow to play games for a whole week, will be leaving town at 8am saturday EST to be gone for a week and presumably with lacking or even no internet so i dont imagine ill be doing much as far as online stuff for that 7 days
and id love to try and join Innova but they dont appear in the server list like Naia/etc so not sure exactly how to access it, and id prefer to pay nothing or as little as possible to the game, i realize that makes me a freeloader but NC has really burned me in the years since 2005, shut down 4 games ive paid loads for, last straw was City of Heroes, i want to give L2 a try cus its always held some interest but never had a chance to play with it being P2P for the longest time since i had other game subs and didnt feel like dropping any, but having been burned so many times by NC im incredibly hesitant to spend a single cent on anything of theirs
but thats the price of being burned by a company you help support, and i imagine their closing of CoH is still hurting their profits, given they didnt close CoH for any real legit reason, it was their most profitable NA/English game up till its closure with countless subscribers even if they didnt all actively play. even tho they werent forced to pay a cent, they loved the game and chose to, i was one of them, but we learned the reason behind its closure and it wouldnt shock me if this is also why Exteel, Auto Assault and Tabula Rasa bit the dust in years passed, but one of the NC KR CEOs who typically calls all the shots for the company doesnt like western developed games or game developers much, his name was found out but i dont remember it, would explain why most of the games made by NC West got killed off and most within a year or 2 of launch, but CoH was a real atrocity cus it was an incredibly successful game and had been around 9 years and was still pulling in a metric ton of money each month, had a dev team that cared about the players and releasing quality content, and just had the nicest community a game could be gifted with, it also didnt have bot issues, outside chat-spam bots but they were actively hunted down and banned so in time it became less of an issue
but that said, yeah, im hesitant about playing an NC title, ill never know when that a-hole CEO will strike again and take something else from me and many others, hes ddone it for more than the 4 games i listed, the other 1-3 i just didnt happen to play. it also blows my mind how he still has his role as a CEO since his actions are leading to the companies downfall even in South Korea, i can only assume the profit loss felt in NC KR due to CoH being shut down is why Guild Wars 2 is no longer going to have an actual boxed expansion, but a drastic shift in original plans to now releasing small expansions over time, they already halted further development of GW1 probly due to lack of $, hate to say it but when that CEO chose to close CoH he busted open the worlds biggest nest of hornets and its still buzzing and were almost going on a year sicne the shutdown notice went out, NCs profits even in KR are still steadilly dropping and have been since the shutdown which is when it all started
i wont be shocked if L2 eventually suffers because of all that, but if anyone is to be blamed its the foolish decisions of the people in charge of the company, and when NC kills a game, it stays dead because they never try to sell the rights to other companies so that the players cna keep playing the games, but i guess in their minds, if they cant make profit off a game then nobody can, andd theyd rather screw the players than let some other company get any $ off the game(s)
which only ends up hurting the players in the end :/

lineage2.eu is for Innova's English speaking servers. It's completely different company, sort-of competing, therefore you won't see their servers between NCsoft's official servers. Client starts from web.
BTW you do not need to have 2 accounts to play on different servers. Regarding less bots in lower populated servers - well, traditionally in Lineage 2 lower populated servers were used as "incubators" for botted characters - they could bot in peace because less population = less competition for hunting grounds. Then suddenly on higher populated active server appear high-level rich toons out of blue sky, never seen before, to have fun in endgame and PVP.
im aware 2 accounts isnt necessary, but i guess that makes me pose the question: do i get an equal amount of character slots on every server that arent shared globally?
You get 7 character slots on every server, no matter whether you play at NCWest, NCKorea or lineage2.eu. Let's say you play at NCWest, then you get 7 characters on Naia, 7 characters on Chronos etc.:
5 servers x 7 characters = 35 characters.
But keep in mind that while Innova's Premium Accounts are for the account, i.e. 7 characters per server (like when NCWest was pay-to-play), the new NCWest Prestige Pack (http://store.lineage2.com/store/detail?goodsNo=900001&categoryPath=1_10) is only for 1 character, i.e. you would need to spend 8400 NCoins per month for 7 characters on a server.
Everyone know the bot situtation in our servers.
Korean servers have two more updates than us, they already have episodion and the new patch "raiders". The korean servers have too much GM's than our servers, they have more worlds and much more bots. Since L2 Korea change subscription mode to F2P they got the same bot invasion. Maybe we will receive Raiders in Jul/2014. Don't expect any new bot detection tool before jul/2014.
Just continue in this botable game and pray for a bot detection solution. While our game use this super-antibot system called as "game-guard", we will fight against bots (pve and pvp).
Inova use the "ilegal" frost.
NC don't have nothing against bots and full support RMT in the game. RMT is ilegal.
It's a total joke. 2 days ago i was at Coliseum to pvp a bit for fun with a friend. Guess what, every 1-2 minutes a Wynn came, buffed up at the NPC -> soe -> back to xping.
Same even at VoS etc. There are bots that are around with Adventurer Buffs. Once they tick off -> soe -> rebuff -> back to buisness.
Shame is that i used the bot report button. The next day i saw the bot duo already in Silent Valley....

The fact that so many feel so small that they have to cheat is not NCSoft fault directly. It is the "i have to number one" attitude and the cult of self-esteme by popularity/title.
People been cheating since some brgiht spark decided put game cheats in the publish them in magazines.
Even lag issue is'nt NCsoft, it is the servers in Dallas. Even with light traffic, the server response time is over 500ms, plus delays.
Even with 0 packet loss, with over 500ms response, the game play is terrible.
So want give those inactive (non existance) gms a challange? Have them nerd fight the ******s in Dallas over thier servers been 1950s internet. (Before you say when WWW went live, NSA invented internet before launch of the world wide web).

Got wonder where all that adrena coming from with drops so low and most bots not scooping anything. Add to that all the kill stealers and drop thieves, bots are not only thing taking fun out of game.
How about poor documentation, no offical wiki detailing game, quests, changes when happen and up coming changes.

This has been discussed many times. If you want to make suggestions there is a suggestion area on the forums to do that. The bot problem needs better management and an actual permanent blocking feature. The bots have always been in this game, it's not new just more rampant.

LMAO high school, I remember one of the first Navy network labs used to teach military personnel networking technology... that was before it was used for civilians to play games (we played them at taxpayer expense of course).
