at least when the new support website went up and aion went f2p plus ingame petition was removed (not long after l2 f2p) they told ppl that the ingame button is no longer working and have to use the website for support. same thing happened here with l2... game went f2p, new support system (website) was up, ingame petition removed but never told us the button doesnt work anymore.

Thanks, scheduled preventive maintenance is the number one way to a healthy server cluster. Children, every weekly maintenance may not deal with code issues, most companies use scheduled maintenance windows to address database and hardware upkeep.
You are missing the point, they bring it down for 4 hours to do LOL "maintenance"? ......and 9 out of 10 times nothing is better. They should call it weekly 4 hour system restart because lets be honest, thats all it really is. They wanna make people happy, keep people in this game, bring back people to this game, increase their income $$, then they need to actually listen to the players....but I'm just wasting my time because I know that will never happen. I'm just glad I dont play this game as I used too...my hearts not in it anymore so it doesnt really matter to me anymore but I would still like to see some changes.
From your own words I can see you are torn, your comments are very contradicting. You care and yet you don't care... due to you not playing as much of course and yet you post in this tread like three times about them not doing anything.
Do you know how many memory modules, power supplies, processors, cables, hard drives and fans were replaced in the server cluster? How much of the database was pruned with today's maintenance, or how long did the indexing take?

We know Bots are a contributing factor to the lag and will be dealing with that soon but it is only a factor, we want to fix the core issue.

The latency problem is on datacentre routing/DNS/ISP side. (no excuse tho)

I feel just sad when I don't have any patching after a maintenance, when I see the Launcher say "Play" and don't update anything is just sad.

Yeah, no worries... just seems like a waste of your time to post about a game you don't play as much or care about. For the record the company is not "enduring" the server maintenance... as with most servers, the users are enduring the downtime all the while crying about the fact they can't play. Meanwhile, the adults work hard maintaining the playground for the sniveling children.
