So factors needing answers:
Skills or auto attacks on the ruby test ?
if skills, were they momentum based?
The megastrike test is the best player test we have since it has 0 damage variance. We removed the armor to exaggerate damage in case the boost was very small. In both cases no damage difference was seen.

I was using a lv2 ruby in the 1adena brooch.
I used Megastrike for the test. Also, if you quickly equip the Ruby and use a skill, it will be the old damage because the soulshot needs to load with the new Ruby. I suggest waiting 2-3 seconds for it to load and then record the number.

That is a very interesting point, that the damage is set at the time the soulshot loads and not when the item is equipped.
What about other tests in the ******* LAB TEST SECTION?
Oh right no money there.
The lab tests are done in my free time when I can. I posted that simple test above to show that the item isn't broken. If it is a skill or item that is bugged, I will most likely test it first. I've been working on the DEX influence test little by little these past few weeks since there is no easy way to actually test skill crit rates.

My apologies to you then. You have to understand if you will, that NC does not look like a company that really cares for its players.
Mmm... dont be *** lazy if you are in a hurry with a test do it yourself. its not so dificult, you have hands and i supose that have clanmates/friends to test parameters. (or you are a forever alone player...)
If you need some specs try to arragange em in a normal player base and do series of try in a significant amount.
You dont need to be an astrophysicist to do a statistical study. just basic math and some patience.

Look bot if I had 96 dex I could test it alone, but I don't so please carry on.
So im a bot for using some math and a little piece of brain... now dude ask for yourself if you ever gona get 96 dex or anything like that unless you are a gm with gods methods over the game...
Sweet you should be the chosen one among players to be thinking that stressing the system to a non playable base will give you the avatar state and win every single pvp with uber stats.
I think gms will congratulate with an own special race with that stats only for you...
Newton make your math teacher proud and take a pencil a sheet of paper and adjust a function with so few parameters
you dont need 96 or over9000 dex to see that the game have some mechanics that scalating from +1-+18 dex easly obtainable for normal human beings will have significance for the answer you are looking for
NOW ill go to cry a river cos you hurt my feelings *baka*O-( T-TO)

So, your logic is 1 dex = X% crit rate?
Yeah, it doesnt work like that.
Try harder.
Edit: Just read your post, you're a butthurt little kid.
Its never been like that... Duh!!! but get the idea of there are more curves than linear ones.
Its laways been a tier-stack and jumping curve with degenerative limits.
So think again there is none curve that can be exact but there are curves that adjust for fenomena in a very precise way that can be used for principle description.
And if there was a simple linear or exponencial curve the game logics always cap for a maximun to avoid over stressing of calculus in the server.
again yay... sorry whyyyyy (T-T) im so dumb
*Grabs a cookie and starts cryng* O(T^T)O nom nom nom! *snif*

You act like a lil kid. So I won't even bother to explain how to get to 96+ dex.
And it's doable even to 100, and you don't need to be a GM.
I know how it can be done but 7+ of that stat increase come from heavy use of Ncoins and so beacause all players can throw $$$ in the screen is really easy + the fact that the uber random Ncoins event can give you the boost to get over 100 dex...
Normal ppl get +21-23 dex by normal gameplay... and over that is really dif without investing your life in the game and most of your living expenses.
Good luck in your holy grial search of unlimited Dex knowledge.

So back on the point i want to ask, i wish to understand why you need to "quick equip" these gems. Are them "time based" like the talismans, or something like "the more you use them, the more they degrade until disappear"? If yes, Are ALL the gems the same way? I don't get it..
It could be a simple matter of owning more than 4 jewels and, since the top brooch has only 4 slots, Diego perhaps changes his jewels according to the situation and opponent(s).
Or Juji wanted to show that the original test was flawed by missing knowledge of game mechanics, because Diego didn't have the Ruby equipped at the time of the sample strike, and needed 2 strikes (not one) more to see the Ruby's effect kick in.
