Feoh is obligated to use only those 4 element boost on weapon (earth/wind/fire/water), otherwise, you overall dmg will be gimped due to all its dmg dealer skills being tied to those 4 elements (by element instance).
Why would any feoh go to full WIT setup? Doesnt sound logic to me.

If somebody is a new Feoh how would they know? So go +Int and no +Wit or mix and match?
You didnt say you were a new feoh, so. In summ, as feoh, NEVER use any weapon with holy/dark element on it, period. Always use the same instance as same as the element on your current weapon (ie.: if you use fire, then always be with fire instance activated, no matter what others say) and try to get at least 120 INT minimum, then you can start to think about what WIT may help you (always keepin in mind that magic critical rate is currently capped at 33% and you can get to that even with the minimum 330 magic crit rate base stat).

AFAIK this is not the case anymore. All skills are tied to your weapons element now except for the very few 100% non element skills (only one I know of is the Tauti blunt skill).
You would do more damage with the stances being the same as your weapon only IF the stances add more element attack or if your skills are enchanted for the same element as your weapon.
It can be quite confusing to keep up with all of the element changes in recent years especially since the last change wasn't even announced in the patch notes.

Please, pay attention that we r discussing in a Feoh Wizard section, about something peculiar to that class and its elemental boots ways. All that you've said may be valid, but it's totally out of point when it comes to feoh criteria of elementing their weapon and getting as high dmg as possible.
Diferently of others classes and even being not allowed to OE their skills to ++element, still feoh's skill r tied to those 4 element (wind/fire/water/wind) by default 'cuz of their stance system. If I'm not mistaken, the stance system decrease an amount of -100 (?) of the target's element defense and that's added to the actual feoh's weapon element, as a bonus; but the blind point here is, if you use a diferent stance or even a alignment based element (in case, holy or dark), the system totally ignores any weapon element boost and just takes that -100 element debuff from stance to the final dmg calculation. And for a class totally based on element damage, that's a huge of self nerf.
To be more clear, take a look into this old test (http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=251586) ran by @Juji and keep an eye on the last block where he changes stances and publish the dmg results. This is kinda an old news for a long time, so.

The element system has changed since that test was done. It was 100% reworked. So what i said is totally true but yes I did forget about the element debuff. The calculated damage will always be related to your weapons element regardless of your stance or debuff you have on the mob.
Either way it is entirely possible I am mistaken on this. When in doubt, conduct your own tests to come to your own conclusions as to what is best for you.

I think (i'm too lazy too look at Juji tests) as long u don't use any stance element your attack is not gimped (is minimally lowered then with valid element but tests shows it was almost irrelevant)
If you would start using element stance yes then there it is decrease in dmg.
At PvE holy in most cases is good choice.
At PvP I think not many holy def is used especially against nukers ... so why not? (in sets most cases it has less elements)
And how exactly are you playing a feoh without using a stance? One gets chosen by default...
Heh I wasn't playing feoh long time but I was sure , after re-log there were no stance.
I've just re-log and I can confirm -mine post above is ******** , you got stance :(
Sorry for confusion.
