NCWest ever thought about your policy on server transfers might be hurting Lineage 2?
I will explain it to you how and why with a case example (mine).
I started L2 again last December after another break.. (18 months this one).
I wasn't working so I could play any time I wanted.
I started work again and this week I have lost so far Sieges/Olympiad/CoC
I can't stay up all night to participate in these events and be like zombie at work the next day.
This is the point where someone comes and says you should transfer to a server that fits you.
No, this is not going to happen. I find it stupid to pay for a server transfer after NCWest having trapped us on a sever whith timezone that doesn't fit us.
NCWest you are hoping to make money from server transfers but what's happening is that you make some money but lose more because people quit the servers.
So what is probably going to happen? Me taking another long break soon.
I said it years ago and I am saying it again now. NCWest you should make a one time free server transfer. You should also make server transfers a fully automated procedure.

Maybe... just maybe you shouldnt have started on a server that has a different timezone then?

It doesn't matter why I dont want to make server transfer.
What matters is that servers lose people because of NCWest Transfer Policy in correlation to the way they implemented the Time Zones.
And fyi new players first we joined mostly the new servers (for apparent reasons). And later NCWest set the Time Zones with a pretty much non scientific way.

@Znipo I am not asking them to make free transfers for ever. I am telling them "Hey you lose players and as a result more money than you make". Also I never said that they should have free transfers all the time. Those who want to take advantage of the market should pay. But a priority should be to make their playerbase somewhat happy (aka stop the leak of players).

Otherwise you could just build one (either free or pay) and jump server to server and not need to spend a penny more. It would be a nice gesture, but they'd be crazy to do it when they know anyone actually paying is already addicted and will continue to pay. So I won't say I wouldn't mind a free service at least one time, but I also understand how crazy it would be for a company that's sucking addicts dry daily of money to give something like this away and make it less necessary to buy. That's all. So +1 to your thought, but -100 to it ever happening.

With the impending servers merge, maybe there will be some sort of transfer offered... or we can go through the time zone votes again.
I have already read a lot of players here on the official forums with numerous suggestions and the Juji could ever answer that such suggestions could be implemented or discussed in the future or that are in the works, to be placed within the L2 Store, such as services dual for main class as well as possibility of merge between servers. There will be server merges for Shilen, Magmeld, and Bartz next year. More details about the server merges will be revealed in the next few months.
Everyone would make a toon and transfer gear for free from a dead server with their 1 time free transfer, I would! And whats wrong with going to work looking like a zombie every monday morning, lol.
