Just hope some XP event - at least VP 300% could be continued cuz 13 hours off in one week wtf, our dailies were messed up by NC, consider that please, meanwhile you can't kill the bots.
Eight and a half HOURS for standard maintenance AFTER servers were down for 4.5 yesterday??! And nothing else to say other than that??? WTH is going on??
This just reconfirms my decision to discontinue spending money on coins! Who cares about some stupid letter event. I certainly don't. Just more of the same BS.

Not even mad that you are basically doing a 13hrs maintenance but its your job to let us know what type of monkey business you are doing and if this 13hrs downtime is actually needed I mean come on yesterday you said you already did a server maintenance for a whooping 5hrs and now to turn off the event and remove the items from the ncstore it takes 8hrs??
NCWest has definitely the worst customer service in all of the official servers.
The team needed to do Tuesday and this will not include the Letter Collector Event just yet.
Since today maintenance again can we please have the letter collector event since from your message it seemed like there wouldn't be a wednesday maintenance but now there is and it is even a longer one then yesterday.
People where happy thinking 1 extra week of server settings and you wont even give us that now and another very long downtime on top and no event, whats going on?
Also your GMT time is off by 1 hour and should be listed as BST as you seem to be using that for the time converter.
You are now using 2 different time zone notations since BST and GMT are not the same, BST has no 1 hour summer/winter clock change while GMT does so your stated time is now off by 1 hour for GMT as you use the BST time for GMT, easy fix though would be to either state BST on the maintenance post or to use GMT in the timezone converter which then wouldn't need a change in your announcement.

I love how new "community coordinator" is in silence exactly like buster when he didnt want to say what the f is going on. I play this game like 5 hours a week so i dont really care about even if you go 40hours maintenance but another companies like Riot Games for ex. are giving FULL detail when they go maint. To us looks like you do some "underground" and fishy changes or you have very serious problems with your game.. People invest money into this, if you cant keep it up its ok, 12 years was enough of poor official services anyway....
Maybe this is new anti bot solution from NCWest, keep servers down and there wont be any bots and they can still keep doing absolutely nothing all day long

I started to play here 8 month before and always the same things are up.
You let bots farm , let players use pvp programs (ranger and others) not fix the bugs, not fix the items whitch makes crit error .
Are u contacted with them? its yours mb? or what? On other servers (off + private also) if they want, they stop bots, programs and fix bugs, here? here why no happens anything?
U just DONT WANT to change these things.

People are more understanding to "sorry something went wrong or couldn't be completed in time and we have to put in a additional downtime so we can finish the work without extending today's downtime."
In fact being fair and straightforward will go a long way with most people who understand technical maintenance is not easy for a game like this that has the complexity of running for 12 years with countless updates being made to it.
They do it with other MMO's where they say what went wrong and their community has not burned them to their feet for it, to the contrary people back off and give them some breathing space to do what they need to do instead of hammering your customer support even more for lack of information and dealing with unexplained situations.
Even telling us something went wrong in the database and we have to fix it but it will take a lot of time to identify all problems would actually explain to a lot of people who had to deal with strange glitches like all skills lost/reset to 0, missing (maestro) recipes, quests being lost/reset etc.
Giving us the simple but non solution of blaming it on the customer most definitely only backfires, customers take this kind of attitude once and whiff it off as a poor response but will not take it repeatedly and eventually take their money elsewhere, money which i am sure NCWest really could use to be able to afford more staff and improve service.
We all appreciate we can play L2 for free, most of us understand it's complexity specially with the patches not just to L2 but also to server hardware and software but in the end it all stands or falls with how good you, the service provider, would back your product and it's community build around it.
Let me give a small example how bad it can go if you make the wrong choices.
One point there was a online game that ran really good, they had 4 big game studios but they neglected to frequently make updates, keep the server performing well and started loosing revenue.
It actually was so bad that they had to cut down to a very small single game studio and fire almost all of their staff and still nearly went bankrupt.
They only barely held their head above the water on what little players they had left to eventually change their way and give their game (or product as you can say) the attention it should have deserved from the start.
Inertia only carries you so far till you have to put out the peddles and start rowing yourself to keep moving forward.

Hi all, due to the extended downtime we've decided to leave the 12th anniversary settings on for an additional week* and we've spawned the Tersi Herald NPC for the Dragon Buff for 6 hours (from 8:00am until 2:00pm PDT).
*Note: The Augmentation Removal Fee = 0 Adena server setting will not be extended for another week and the normal removal fees will now apply.

A more constructive way to put this might be to make suggestions to make next year's anniversary more desirable to you.

Ok, here some are from 99 lv player.
System similar to Piero from the last anniversary.
Items for safe over enchanting (almost all my armor pieces are only +3).
Anything else to strengthen my char (like lv5 dyes, bloody amarantine/eternal stones and other expensive stuff)
Anything else worth selling to other players for adena (last anniversary's shadow weapons sold several months later earned me enough adena for eternal set, my specter weapon was bought by money earned in other event - simply said, selling event items is my primary source of adena).

Thanks for explaining, just was wondering since originally was said need thursday though i now realize it wasn't said there wouldn't be a maintenance wednesday so as it seems just an extra day that is needed this time only.

tersi on freya disapeared like 25min ago didnt respawnedThere is an issue with the NPC spawning through our control system, but we are manually spawning it now.

The rewards will be posted the day of the Letter Collector event (currently scheduled for next week). The rewards are pretty massive this time around compared to the 2013 iteration.

in Freya only Giran have tersi nps...There are issues with the tool that we use to spawn Tersi, so we manually spawned the NPC in Giran for the time being until the "real" one comes up.
if this is "emergency" tersi npc, when "real" up how much time will be on? pls say 1-3-7 days :D give use reason to say tnx to NCWest :)We will try to keep the NPC up for another 6 hours. The NPC does have a 3-hour timer on it automatically, so we cannot change when it disappears.

i mean i don't want to be rude you saying the game is free but is not we have the shops to buy stuff i mean yes we don't have too. but you guys make more money than the monthly $14 charges to be honest with you i love when the game was not free everything was in order and we had more events. and yes you are right this game is up for 12 years and is running and i understand stuff happens and you guys need to do the maintenance but tell us something what happen and i know you guys not gonna say the exactly thing happen. i think you guys can do more in this game but nothing is happening the class are not equal at all, most people use programs to pvp and no one doing anything in ceremony people cheat and nothing is done to fix the issue.the package you guys sale at store they horrible and expensive is useless .. when the goddess of distraction came out the L2 store was with a lots of goodies even the package you buy it came with so much potion and stuff. i love the idea when you guys had the event to change ur second class with out losing the xp. if you can bring that back that be amazing. i hope you guys can look and try to change stuff. FYI is not late to bring players back or have new players if you guys make the game fun and make the game little balance . because you guys killed the summoners for good and the archers are over powered . balance the class .... even the new race over power.

you could be right or wrong .... but if they sit down and find a solution it will go on .... i mean come on to get dark R99 set you know how hard is to get that, most powerful people in the server controls who get dark stone . who can or can not hunt in the area. their is a lot of work they have to do to fix the issue. i am against boting is cheating but thats how some people buy adena to be able get the R99 dark set. i just think they need to sit down and come up with amazing event like something that u can get dark stone so that will change the market price. make ceremony with team fight group of 20 in each team or more than 20. team red and blue or lilith or freya .

1/2 price at All ncstore items , make a real event , not a lottery event where ppl have to buy to participate ( there's ppl with salary less than 200$ a month playing this game too you kno ? ) . I havent seen an event with chance to win a good item without buying ncoin in years . Jewerly boxes event ( not lottery ) , every event that dont requiers paying your overpriced game where every1 took advantage from 3rd party software and you laught at legit players will be good event. And best event - Get rid of the BOTS and RMTers.

Vood hasn't logged in well over a month. And it's been even longer since he's bought coins. I'm sure others that have spent a fortune on coins in the past have stopped as well so you can through that idea out the window.

Any 1 returning to game to try out after new update, (if it ever makes it) or because of supposed bot blocker will not stay because you instantly have to open your wallet, not for a few dollars here and there, but HUGE chunks of money for things that are mostly a gamble. The game is beyond corrupt and can't possibly limp on much longer.

tbh support always sucked more or less, so thats nothing new.
May I do a suggestion about the annoying RMTs in town?
Is it somewhat posible to share the blocklist with the chars in the same account, so when I change the char I'm playing I don't have to block the very same RMTs over and over again?
After the break we had because you couldn't create chars during the first days in Freya, the situation is now as (if not more) annoying as ever
