I'm hoping we will have the ability in the future to switch dual class to main class. Is this an evil myth or will this ability come to fruition some day?

I'm not multilingual to understand how different is the event from Japan/Taiwan version compared the Korean version.
Except in NCKorea there was the option to upgrade the seed talismans by an amount of giant's energy reduced, all other options are identical: item in banana shape that gives status to the character + bonus exp+sp, R/R95/R99 baits that are acquired by adena and designed to fish the rewards that are identical in the 3 scenarios.
Also according to the event placed in the NCKorea, as well as with the description of Powerful Fish obtained through the fishery, the item called Stardust is properly designated as exclusively by NCKorea ??
As far as I understand it, there is some confusion about crafting those Agathions in our version (starter Agathions not available?), so this would make sense.
Also note, while in Korea you could also get Bloody Amaranthine Stones, in Taiwan and Japan you could only get Bloody Eternal Stones. Japan and Korea had also Mid-Grade and High-Grade Spirit Stones, while in Taiwan there were only Top-Grade Spirit Stones. So the details can vary :)

And I'm not talking about the stupid dual separation that we where voting on against race change. Simple.... by a stone, talk to an NPC and poof... your dual class is your main and your main is your dual. That's it that's all. even if its just a limited time that's fine.

Agreed. I've decided not to play L2 until they introduce the main class change service. And forget about me buying ncoin. I'm done until they give us what we want... and what they promised. I don't know what the legal issue is, but if you offered it once before -- and we all were there when you did, so we know it's **** well possible -- then you need to figure out a way to make it happen again and pronto. That sound? Your player base eroding. Your coffers drying up. It may only be a whisper now, a hushed rustling of leaves, but you just wait. Race change is just a stop-gap. The volume for main class change will increase in decibel level soon.

I see what your saying but its not really about leveling, I was on a L2 break when they did it last time, for me its mainly cause I don't like playing my main class, and I love my dual class, I would gladly have a dual to main, then re-level my dual from 85 up.
I'm not going to reroll, because of the non tradable items/name/character appearance/tattoos/brooch jewels that I like about my toon, a dual to main isn't going to effect anything, you play the class you like to play, if you think tanks are a grind but like them then you will play them anyway. I know this cause I play a soultaker. I actually want to switch my dagger class.
Just my 2 cents though not here to start a war.. but I think on the majority this is something that the L2 population has wanted for a long time.

that is not how it will work.. let me tell you how the old exchange main / subclass used to work:
main human race: duelist 78 - sub 80 sws => main elf race: 80 sws - sub 78 duelist
so no you do not get the level from your current main applied to the dual class lol

Also if it was an event type item then you would not have the time to make a Evis110/titian110 and would have to decide what you want to play during the event.

They have it already with the red Libra, how many people made a healer dual 101 just like that.
Anyone making a tank or healer knows what they're signing on for: a lot of work, and not very much appreciation. They do it because they love it or, like you, because they like to rage and it gives them one more reason to do so.
it's a win win for all, win for players as it's a good adena create thingie and win for nc as then it's going to be less obvious how much we will end up spending on getting the new brooch jewels etc.
it's w/e as it will happen sooner or later, it's more troubling for me that we don't get the same as Korea (Improved Epics) and potentially not even what Japan (6 slot brooch/improved eternal armors) has but that's another story..
@Juji: what about adena/drop increase ? Now the drop/adena rate is really s..cks... Now should farm weeks even months, years for a single piece of item if I would like to buy something meaningfull and I count to the adena drop only. And there are some items which never be bought from l2 store or simply I do not want to buy there. :rolleyes:
