I think Tersi is compensation for server down time, not the missing scrolls. Im at work so server down time doesn't bother me much, but if part of my scroll compensation is this buff, we have a BIG problem here.

Yea i hope you guys can figure out a real solution, i had between 600-700 maphr's scrolls after spending like $600.00 on this event, roughly 48,000 ncoin give or take. I am sure i am not the only one that thinks a Tersi for the server is not a viable compensation.

answer is simple IMO everyone who purchased a 40k carrot pack can pick 1 of any reward from said event... 2 packs 2 items u can select and so on. it isnt hard to see the database and know who purchased what, just take a little time that these guys can afford since they do nothing all week until maintenance and even then manage to mess that up.... Good afternoon, a way to solve the problem of scrolls and exchange them for maphrs wind scroll and let vp at 300% until the day 12/10 or exchange scrolls for Freya's frozen scroll and let vp at 300% until the day 12/10
Only 1 solution now is to give all people 200 exp rune for one month...I lost 470 scrolls what I paid for ...Adena/real money... We want equal solution , not the tersi or any **** for one or two days...

Obviously you are slow so I'll spell it out for you. If they refund each scroll to the tune of 40 NCoin and then offer scrolls in the store for 40 NCoin and you opt to buy one then there is no difference. The benefit is you can choose to spend the NCoin on something else if you like or buy the scrolls.
NCSoft needs a weekly delivery of Tylenol to handle the weekly headaches incurred by maintenance; or maybe whiskey.
I think the "Programming for Dummies" book is not working. Let's put that away and embrace the idea that now is a good time for NCSoft to post some job opportunities on craigslist to recruit a competent programmer(s).

My donation was estimating the amount of "wind maphr's scroll", which could use before being eliminated

How is the XP rune exactly related to the maphr scrolls?Explain please, cos this is a baby cry to me without any cover.
You still can go and get XP from the rune, the maphr scrolls give XP based on the base XP and not on top of the total XP acquired.....

Wanted to thank NC and Juji for a wonderful compensation.
Furthermore, it would be cool if only players who suffered a loss could claim that package (and any further compensation), coz there're too many freeloaders who can only criticize and still they're benefitting from the bundle meant to be a compensation for hardworking people.
The fact is that we screwed up on this and recognize what an inconvenience it caused for players who had saved up a supply of the scrolls. Beyond that, investigating and troubleshooting the issue led to extended maintenance downtime affecting all players. In cases like this we almost always prefer to err on the side of universal, generous compensation, rather than a more targeted, conservative approach.
We recognize that players who didn't have any of these scrolls—and thus weren't affected by the premature deletion—also benefit from the Compensation Bundle.
Ultimately, that's an acceptable outcome for us, especially given that we wouldn't have been able to quickly and efficiently implement a Compensation Bundle, if we wanted to add prerequisites limiting its availability to only those players who lost scrolls—and if we did go this route, would it not also be more fair to tailor how compensatory the bundle is based on how many scrolls each player lost? A bundle offering implemented with conditions such as these would likely take at least as long as it'll take to just restore the scrolls themselves (during next week's maintenance).
free2palysux and golemka alike should be banned just because they scaring people away with their filty messages and constant complaint about the free service of NC which should be accepted "as is" since having read EULA they pressed "Agree" button.
I feel sorry for NC actually, for their tolerance policy when dealing with such scum hailed from fields of freeloading and complaining.

I greatly appreciate the compensation due to the package.
And the way you take into consideration in deciding as what it would be better.
6039 ncoins being delivered to each account = somewhere around $75 in approximate retail value (ARV).
You might even find it a lot to thousands of account benefit from it and that if not benefited from this event now.
But since it was so decided for doing so generous universal way for compensation, I have nothing to complain about. My 3 accounts allocated in L2 thank.
Although my question is another,
Since it has become something more recurrent be compensation here, it is also something rather unpleasant to have to fix these errors but also generates a cost in dollars (say, it is possible that part of what was profited from the hungry horse Galup event cover part what is already compensating for players)
I say this because I am not defending the company, but by the fact that somewhere will have to pay this price.
If so, there is some risk in the future see any Promo Store or is any event that will be more expensive just to cover the guilt because of this?
I hope that we as players we are not penalized in the future because of this.

Now this is very funny isn't it? The bait deletion date was announced way back in July when the event started. You my friend, bought bait for whatever reason, and couldn't use (or sell, maybe) it all in time. If you gamble and you lose, it's just too bad bro.
According to some random above (didn't read the nick), only those suffered loss should be compensated, because they can't do a single thing in this game otherwise. Now going with that logic, I should receive equal compensation then, since I've suffered a loss but I don't buy coins...... hmm, true smart guy there xD

Someone or a Group of Peolpe have 20-100 shops all over the place buying these scrolls for 200-500k to sell them 2 days later for 3kk-5kk
and sell the Adena for real money.

I would normally not respond to people who assume things without thinking about what they post, however I am tired and a little cranky this morning. I work 7 days a week 12 - 14 hours a day so when I have the time to play I just PLAY. I don't have the time to read all the updates and such which I agree is my own problem. That being said, my point was, event items in general go away at a certain point and I did not complain about the 500+ Monkey treasure chests I had forgotten to open before they were deleted because they are "free" rewards and it was my own fault for not opening them before they went away. The bait however had to be purchased at 24k each. When you purchase something it should not be taken away.
