Q: When does the Destiny Pack Preview Promo begin and when does it end?
A: The Destiny Pack Preview Promo begins on November 23, 2011 at 08:00:00 a.m. CST. It ends on November 29, 2011 at 18:00:00 p.m. CST.
Q: When will the items be delivered?
A: The Vesper Weapon of Destiny and the Destiny Scrolls:Enchant Weapon (S-grade) will be delivered in your character's warehouseon November 30, 2011, during the Goddess of Destruction launch maintenance.
Q: How do I know which character will receive the items?
A: When you purchase the Destiny Pack you will be prompted to choose what server you want the pack delivered to. The character that is highest level on the server during the November 30, 2011 maintenance will be selected. Therefore, please make sure the character you want the items to go to is on the highest level class. For example, if you want the items to go to your main character, please make sure the main character is not on a subclass. Setting up the highest level character for 7-day deletion will not prevent that character from being chosen to receive the weapon.
Q: Are the Vesper Weapon of Destiny and the Destiny Scrolls:Enchant Weapon tradable?
A: The weapon and the scrolls cannot be traded or dropped. The weapon cannot be crystallized but it can fail enchantments and be destroyed. The weapon is not a Dimensional item.
Q: Are the Vesper Weapons of Destiny and the Elegia Weapons permanent or do they expire after a certain time?
A: The weapons are permanent.
Q: Can I enchant a Vesper Weapon of Destiny with normal enchant scrolls, or can I change its attribute?
A: You can only use the special Destiny Scrolls:Enchant Weapon on the Vesper Weapon of Destiny. The attribute on the weapon is set to Earth (P. Atk. 150) and cannot be changed. The Destiny enchant scrolls work like regular enchant scrolls: there is a risk of breaking the enchantment if you try to enchant the weapon past +3. If the enchantment breaks, the weapon is gone and you get 0 crystals. All weapons have a predetermined SA that cannot be changed, except Dualswords because they need to be enchanted to +4.
Q: How do I know which Vesper Weapon of Destiny my character will receive?
A: That class of the receiving character determines which S84 Vesper Weapon you receive. A Duelist or Spectral Dancer would receive a Vesper Dual Sword of Destiny, while a Soultaker or Archmage would receives a Vesper Buster of Destiny. Q: What SA does each Vesper Weapon of Destiny have?
A: Cutter, Slasher, Pincer, Fighter, Nagan, Thrower, Shooter = Focus. Buster, Caster = Acumen. Retributer = Health. Shaper = Critical Damage. Stormer = Haste. Dualswords get Focus and Health when enchanted to +4.
Q: How many winners will there be for the Elegia Weapon sweepstakes?
A: For every 10 purchases of the Destiny Pack Preview Promo, one winner will be randomly selected.
Q: How do I know I am a winner of an Elegia Weapon?
A: Winners be contacted by GMs via email address listed on your master account. To claim your Elegia Weapon, you must reply to the mail.
Q: How do I choose which Elegia Weapon I want?
A: The winner notification letter in your character's inbox will ask you which Elegia Weapon you want. You must reply stating which Elegia Weapon you choose. Please choose carefully as the weapon choice can only be made once. Refunds and exchanges are not possible. A full list of available Elegia Weapons can be found in the FAQ on the official Lineage II forums.
Q: When do I get the Elegia Weapon, and which of my characters will receive it?
A: Once you have replied to the mail and said which Elegia Weapon you want, it will be sent to you via in-game mail promptly. You can choose which of your characters you want the weapon to go to.
Q: Are Elegia Weapons tradable? Can I alter them with enchantments?
A: The Elegia Weapons are regular weapons with no special restrictions to trading, enchanting or altering.
Q: What happens if I just barely missed the cutoff time for the Destiny Pack Preview Promo, or if I accidentally chose the wrong server to send the items to?

I have a question regarding the promotional vesper gift; are we given a box containing the vesper weapon? The reason I ask is because I plan to use it on an alt (which hasn't even done the first class transfer). If we are given a box, I'm assuming we can level until our 3rd class transfer, at which point opening the box will result in receiving a weapon suited to that class.
Is the enchant success rate the same as for all other (non-destiny) weapons?

Sorry thats really not buy2win, thats what most F2P games do and the weps you can only get from between Nov24-29th.
If you want b2w then look at PW, SUN and a few others like that where YOU MUST buy things from the cash shop to win and also in PW you can buy already upgraded armor if I heard correctly. All the stuff they are selling/giving can be gotten in game. Just need to have the in game cash for it.

There is only 1 toon that has a sub which I could change to a lower level but the other 2 toons are lvl 77 and 75. My SH is only lvl 53. I will be busy the next few weeks, so I will not be able to play often. It be will difficult to level my SH past my other 2 7x toons by November 30th.

I'm with DemiGoth here, it should just xp,vit and some related items to help you lvl, but weapons...and the probability of getting a Elegia wep...even if it is bound item you should get a really nice boost in pvp even if its just S-or-S80 you can do pretty dmg with it...guess Lineage 2 will be owned for the ones who can "buy" weapons from the shop's....

Get it to 40 and class change it before they issue the weapons. It doesn't take long, even on newb buffs and **** gear.

I recall reading that the 81 requirement is still there in GOD.
That's a work-around and it doesn't answer his question.
Judging from the number of questions about Destiny Vesper weapon for before-1st-class-transfer characters, I can say that NCSoft did not have newbie in mind when they came up with the exploration packs.
We will sure see a lot of players come here after launch with questions like "Why did I get this dual instead of blunt?" since it is not clearly stated on NCSoft website.
6 more days to launch and NCSoft has not even thought about this possible bug.
Their FAQs can't even address this properly.
I guess if you don't have a 3rd-class character, don't bother with this Destiny Pack, it has the potential of screwing up something, somewhere.
NCSoft can only answer how the package will react to a 3rd char, they never take into account before-1class-transfer characters.

SACE! PLEASE ANSWER #4! - here's an example: I want to (Stone of Destiny) Awaken my main to a different class that matches my subclass. Can I change my class to the subclass prior to the Nov 30th maintenance and get the appropriate Vesper Weapon for my Awakened class? (Different from my current main class?)
That Vesper weapon sounds suspiciously like the PC Points time-limited weapons we could buy from the NPC during the last event (it cannot be a normal Vesper weapon, since it's not tradeable and you can only use the special enchant scrolls on it).

Yes it does answer his question. Your second class is always the same arch type as your third class.

Yes, but does seem to be permanent. I'm assuming until they tell us otherwise that they don't come with SAs, which will relegate them to subclass xp weapons if that. I'm not expecting a miracle weapon or anything, so that's fine.
Sace did mention that the attribute can't be changed, but I wonder if she meant "no change ever" or just that players can't request different attributes. Theoretically the attribute-change crystals we receive in GoD should do the trick unless these items are exempt.
I'm D2F, but before we commence; which vesper weapon that I have no use for will be forced onto dwarves? Don't say daggers or I'll be buying lunch for a D3 employee instead. And I sure hope that 150 earth element (have fun mages) is upgradable by normal means. I'll also need concrete statement about the weapons SA capability. No, not the "this will be the longest PTS ever" type of assurance...

This, except that my bet is that the Vesper weapon is permanent since there was no mention of Shadow mana or 7 day or any other time-limited detail.
Adding more Vesper or Elegia weapons will have virtually no impact on PvP. R equipment is common, and R weapons are easier to SA.

****, U have over 13k posts done, but I bet none of them are useful.
All other are herbs adding u a buff for 10 minutes, there are 3 kinds of buff. Also once a day in a server somebody can get a real Vesper weapon. U can trade it and so on. But its just 1 weapon per day randomly in a server.

I assume, since I've seen no information otherwise, that the Vesper Weapons of Destiny are Shadow weapons, and I'll assume they are only good for 1 or 2 weeks.
The other stuff is posted in more detail on the new Website. Good job there, but the Stores need a message indicating that the information is there in detail. Also, special promo items need the same detailed treatment. I'm hoping the information is correct too, since some looks a bit strange. In the Galleria, the basic pack info says some items can be dropped, traded, are Dimensional, but can't be put in a Clan Warehouse. Suspiciously odd!!
The link from the Website page with Vesper Weapon of Destiny did not work when I tried it. Might be working now, but I had to search Forums to find this thread. Didn't find anything about the Vesper Weapons I wanted to know though.
And I agree with the others. S grade weapon giveaways will not have any affect in game after the first week. Those people with maxed out PvP characters already have these, and better armor and jewelry and shortly will be looking to have better R grade gear as well.
The only real change with Free to Play is that rich people will now pay to keep the servers up and running.
As we All know some classes from pre-awakening to awakened will not use the same weapons.
So still LF Confirmation/Information on:
1 - Are the weapons going to come in some sort of box that we need to click to activate the weapon being generated OR is the weapon going to come as is on the 30th. I don't want to receive a One Handed Sword when I'm going to use Dual Swords in GoD. Because the second GoD goes like no one will be awakened yet. If they come in some box and we can wait to open it until after we awaken then great (Assuming that you have it set to know weapon uses for Awakened toons to) But if it just comes as a weapon already then what about the people that will use a different weapon in GoD? And I'm not talking about the people who will use the stone of destiny to change their main completely I mean people that will follow the path but still are getting their main weapon usage changed. (Example: SwM before GoD uses One-Handed Sword/Blunt and after awakened to Iss Enchanter uses Dual Swords)
2 - Are the Vesper weapons Permanent or do they have some kind of time limit on them.
3 - Will the Vesper weapons have any sort of SA on them randomly generated/chosen or not?
4 - Many classes have masteries and skills for more then one weapon how will the game know what to give? Example: A Fortune Seeker has masteries for One Handed Blunts, Swords, Daggers, Dual Daggers (After 81) and Polearms. What will happen in this situation? Can we pick?
It's not all ppl can train and fast lv up in a short period of time. If another one create his character on the 28/11, do you expect him to lv up to 40 within a day? Or because he create the character so "late", that's why he can't receive the weapon? What do you think?
Exactly the same as my opinion. There are many new players who paid real money for Destiny Package but they haven't created their char yet (because many reasons such as: waiting for new sv or download the client too late ...) Many people are NOT former players but they need to be treated equally.
I think that NCsoft may give us a box and after we reach lv76 we can get item by open that box.

You pay hard cash for it and you have the right to return it if it doesn't come like advertised. And they didn't mention a timelimit, so there will be none.

No, this shop isnt real. You are trading real money for ncsoft's fake money, in order to purchase a nonrefundable license for access to pixels that will go to an account that you are technically borrowing from ncsoft.

Prophets will get the Vesper Caster of Destiny (Earth). I'm afraid it is not possible to choose which Vesper Weapon of Destiny your character receives. When you Awaken, you will, however, receive a new weapon. (Check the patch notes on Awakening.)

Earth Lv 4 (Earth P. Atk. 150).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Because of the level 81 requirement to use dual daggers, we have switched this Vesper Weapon of Destiny to a usable one. Now, all rogue-type classes will receive the Vesper Shaper of Destiny. We've updated the website page to reflect this.

Destiny Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S-grade) is it the regular, blessed or destruction type of Enchants ?
If regular will the weapon disapper if we fail ?
The Destiny enchant scrolls are regular: there is a risk of breaking the weapon after +3, and if you break it the weapon returns to +0.

My question is what kind of a weapon will a Fortune Seeker get? because this class has many different masteries.. Is there a way to choose one of blunt-dagger-pole?

Isn't it useless for a nuker to have earth attribute on his weapon . Is there a chance to get wind or dark for stormscreamer,fire for arcmage , water for elf ?
Can you take the weapon to 300 element, or are u stuck with 150?
Curious about this as well.
Also, I understand that the weapons' attribute is fixed as Earth, but wondering whether or not the attribute change crystals we receive upon Awakening will work on them as with other S-S80 weapons.

Question: Can the Vesper of Destiny weapon/ Destiny Pack contents be transferred from the highest level character to another character on the same account?
Example: I have a level 79 (no subclass) and a level 62 character on the same account and would want all the items to go to the level 62 character.
Hurry and get a subclass. You should have farmed up a few badges by now. Farm some more tomorrow(if on Naia), *poof* subclass. Switch to subclass and now your level 62 character is top.
Or go the long route and spend your adena for lunargent, Bcry, Bweapon, get friends to kill bosses. *poof* subclass. Might require not sleeping for 48 hours to get all the bosses done.

If your gladiator subclass is the highest level character on your account, then you will get the vesper duals; however, if your gladiator subclass' level is lower than any other character in your account - on the server you specify - then your gladiator won't be the one to get the vesper weapon.

There are 3 other toons that would be higher then the Gladi subclass so would I still get the duals on the glady sub if i put the other 3 toons up for deletion? Because technically they will get deleted on the maintenance on Wednesday right?

I don't believe so, as character deletion takes 7 days from the time at which it is queued. If none of those 3 characters have access to a subclass, then you would have to level your gladiator sub to at least 1 level past your highest level alt.
If those 3 characters have completed their subclass quests, then you can simply leave them on any lvl 40 sub and level your glad sub to 41. Make sure to double check your characters before you log off for server maintenance.

Would seem obvious who has trouble understanding how this works. A lot of important questions were not on Sace's first list of FAQs. Only when people started asking and commenting did she provide answers, and start updating the first post with those answers, which is what she should be doing.
The Destiny pack is very expensive for many people and much of the stuff in it is of little value, particularly for people just coming to, or back to L2. R grade and S grade stuff for some one just starting may not be of much value. We have not seen just how fast leveling in Goddess will be. Fast enough it seems that the last 2 years of power leveling by NC will be seen as pretty much pointless or even annoying. I am asked by clan members if something is good or bad. The answers to the questions here have made the Destiny package before the 30th of November not bad. Maybe not good, but after the special promo, I'd not buy.

Use transforms and you can level it to 69 in a couple of days. I took my box SE's sub 40-67 in under 5 hours using ranku scrolls and pulling with an oop warlord.

2. the weapon last forever BUT you can't turn it into crystals.

Judging from the FAQ, only 1 character will be eligible to receive the vesper weapon(s) per server, per lineage 2 account; given that they aren't tradeable, you won't be able to have multiple weapons across different characters on the same server, within the same Lineage 2 account. You can purchase multiple packs, but if you purchase them all on the same server and L2 account, then 1 character will get all of the weapons (And they will all be the same vesper weapon), and all of the scrolls.
2. What happens if my character is not high enough level to use the weapon? It just becomes a worthless inventory item?
You can always use the weapon; however, you will incur a gear penalty if you use the weapon while you are below level 76.
So my main is an 78Mystic muse with a 76 Sword Muse sub and a 47 destroyer sub.
on the same acc i have an 70 destroyer.
im thinking of getting the package which will give me the vesper weapon usable from lvl 76.
Now this tricky part is, it want the Destroyer weapon on my 70 Destroyer., so my idea was to let my mystic muse being on a the 47 destroyer sub on the 30th maintainence, so technically the 70 destroyer would be highest level. would this work ? or would i be getting the destroyer sword on my 47 sub ?

Do we have an "official" reference on the +0 vs. weapon gone? This will dramatically impact peoples' choices.
I hate to nitpick (sorry, Sace!), but the wording of the answer is confusing. It states both that the weapon will break (the enchant is "regular") and that it will simply return to +0 if an enchant fails (i.e. the enchant is "blessed").
I'm ASSUMING that the correct answer is that the enchants are the equivalent of blessed (that the weapon will not disappear if an attempt is failed, but simply return to +0), but I can see where the confusion is coming from.

I think you lose your weapon :) Just make it + 3 !!!!! Guys. YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A VESPER +3 ,SA,150 EARTH AND YOU CRYING ABOUT OVER ENCHANT? its an item that cost 200 m !!!!!!!! lol. Just take the weapon and say THNX!!!! When i needed a vesper in the past it cost 1 bil.

I agree. They should give to mage healer classes the exact element. For example I am Cardi and I don t need earth on my weapon because I use holy as element. If I was dagger or archer or poler I could use the earth attribute because my skills can be enchanted as earth. So for mages/healer classes thats unfair. Healers have no use for Holy after Awakening. At least not until they are in their late 90s begin to have max lvl nukes, which can then be enchanted for Holy or Dark if you go an element route.
Earth isn't that great for everyone, you're right; it's too bad special "Super Attribute Stones of Destiny" don't exist to let you choose your own element, but it is what it is with this promotion.
Awakening my main class Kamael to another class like a Tanker , will my subs keep as Kamael ones or is it mandatory to change into human like classes ?
If subclasses MUST be followed as HUMAN , are such DESTINY VESPER weapons changeable with the kamael's WEAPON CHANGE skill (eg changing a VESPER PINCER into a VESPER CUTTER) ?
Like a few people i have been reading this post and still am a little confused on a few things... so i emailed [email protected] to get some clarification and they sent me back here... not impressed. So here we go... i made this as simple as possible so someone can clarify.

Which statement is correct?? do we loose the weapon on failed enchant or do we just loose the enchant and keep the weapon?
Next is when can we equip the weapon? level 76 or level 84?

and befor you get the notion that you can do it after awakening, no, you cant change element on Bound weapons either (which is what the Destiny weapon is)
@Jyrki - I imagine(guessing) the char with the higher amount of experience will get the item eg. Char 1: lvl75 50% Char 2: lvl75 60%, so char 2 would get the item. This applys true for sub classes vs other chars on the account (alts) as its the highest level char on the account at the time of delivery (30th nov 2011) that gets the item. So if the sub is selected and at level 75 and there is an 'alt' at level 76 the alt would gain the item.
Regards Element I think not to increasing it as the FAQ on first page states it cannot be changed. However after reading this thread that leads me to believe the element can't be swapped but possibly can be increase hence why i asked for clarification.
Regards Augmentation I believe yes it can be augmented as it is a "Full" item that is (forgive me) soul bound... but would be nice for clarification on this as well as I'm not 100%.
No worries; There is a lot of questions around these weapons that could use further clarification, especially when it comes to this package when you have players shelling out about $50. Pretty useless to most current end game players though.

If you have a lvl 75 nuker, but instead you would like to continue with a lvl 70 hawkeye, i still cant choose the bow cause of the highest level requirement? In other words, im bound to the nuker weapon with this destiny promo pack?

@xokido - yes as stated highest level char will receive the weapon you cannot pick your weapon, and cannot trade or sell the item in order to fund a lower level char. Sorry.
I'm hoping 'Sace' or someone else will come back with more information before the deadline expires, I understand it must be as frustrating for them as for us. They are obviously doing a job with limited information and we obviously want to know all details before spending our money.
I just hope they make future "deals" more clear on the type of items we might be buying as at this rate it will most certainty lead to unhappy customer base when a client is expecting 'X' and gets 'Y'.

The FAQ answer about broken enchantments on Vesper Weapons of Destiny returning to +0 was wrong. The correction was posted 2 days ago: the weapon breaks and 0 crystals returned.
I'll work on getting other answers to questions today.
It would have been nice if you could exclude specific toons from receiving the package by putting them up for deletion. You'd have plenty of time to cancel the deletion once the right toon got the package. But I'm guessing it's not going to work like that...?
So regards the weapons your getting a Top S grade weapon which you can enchant or blow up you cannot add or change attribute so I highly doubt you can augment it as well.
The Vesper Weapon is S-grade and can be equipped at level 76. I'll correct the mention on the Launch Celebration Bonus news page.

The weapon received at Awakening is actually more of a souvenir item. It does not have a level requirement for equipping it, it has a low P. Atk and M. Atk (30 and 30 in the example of the one-handed sword for Hell Knights), but it looks cool and has a nice glow about it.

I'll check all the weapons and see which SA they have. So far I'm seeing Acumen on Casters and Busters, Focus on Cutters, Fighters and Slashers, Health on Retributers.

Vesper Weapons of Destiny are not Dimensional items.

Yes, the Hawkeye would get the weapon because they would be the highest-level character.

I've added a list of all the SAs for Vesper Weapons of Destiny to the original FAQ post.
Awakening my main class Kamael to another class like a Tanker , will my subs keep as Kamael ones or is it mandatory to change into human like classes ?
If subclasses MUST be followed as HUMAN , are such DESTINY VESPER weapons changeable with the kamael's WEAPON CHANGE skill (eg changing a VESPER PINCER into a VESPER CUTTER) ?
I think it's dumb that Dominator, Doomcryer are getting Vesper Retributer of Destiny, Sword Muse are getting Vesper Cutter of Destiny and Hierophant are getting a Vesper Caster of Destiny. when in all of these classes are set to awaken as Iss Enchanteres. where if they are 85 at 100% they will need dual swords or blunts for their skills. After they awaken they will have no use for it. Where a BD, dualist, can use the duals until they get a good R grade weapon.
As per your sign, u have a Domi/PPsub , make another sub BD or Glad lv40 and it's DONE ;) leave it like that on 30th Nov
The SA is random you will get one of the 3 that weapon can have just luck of the draw.

So what you are effectively saying is that all the people playing Hierophants, Swordmuses, Dominators, Doomcryers and Judicators will have to pay more (with only a chance IF there is even going to be a new promotion) to play their awakened class efficiently while everyone else can just play their awakened class efficiently after the GoD update?
That's a rather underhanded way of flipping the finger at all the people playing these classes after taking their (N)coin for the Destiny Pack.
Also, if the Destiny Pack Preview Promo is designed to help equip players on the way to their Awakening why are Prophets and Hierophants receiving a caster/healer's weapon? Prophets/Hierophants are Enchanters (and have no attack/offensive skills whatsoever) and thus have to melee with their weapon to do any kind of damage, they have almost no use for magic attack, they need physical attack power.
What are they supposed to do with the 1-handed magic blunt? Throw it at their enemies in the hope they die from laughter?
With your earlier mistake confusing Prophets/Hierophants for Healers in stead of Enchanters and them being paired with all the Healers for the Healer weapon it is rather starting to look like you guys have no idea what to think of or do with the Prophet/Hierophant.
In my humble opinion at least the Prophets/Hierophants should receive the dual sword, it is the commonly preferred weapon for damage by them and seeing as they awaken as an Iss Enchanter it seems only fitting.
About broken enchantments on Vesper Weapons of Destiny returning to +0 was wrong. The correction was posted 2 days ago: the weapon breaks and 0 crystals returned. :eek:

I have a 85 WC in robes and a AM for casting speed, after i waken it to a enchanter, i will not have the right gear to party with others. I will also have robes that will get useless to the toon. With anyother class then weapon in the event can be used after the awaken. why whould i pay $50 for a pack with a weapon i don't need. Instend of just giving us a weapon you should have made a NPC and mailed us a weapon ticket. The NPC could have the weapon or class opinions so people get a weapon they can use. I have a friend who is 85 Changing from SWS to archer when he awakens. He told me he it not buying the pack because the weapon would be a waste, and if you where able to pick the class or weapon he would buy the pack. I have at lest 7 people saying the same thing. They aren't going to spend the $50 on NCcoins for a unless weapon. there is $350 NCwest won't make all the do with how the weapons are givin out.

I think all the weapons should be + 3 and the duals +4 when givin to us to fix this problem. The other weapons already have a SA and the dual have to take the change to get their SA. I fear there will be alot of people losing their duals trying to get to +4 for the SA.

duals have always required +4 for SA, every duelist in the game as well as Dancer have QQ'd about it since the invention of SA's in Chronicle2

The unfair part is obviously that everyone except dual users get the SA included in the price. This is not how it works with regular weapons.
Normally the dual users pay the cost for SA with the 60% risk of failing, while everyone else pay the cost by buying sgems+sa crystal. It balances.
But if in this case you don't have to pay the cost of buying sgems+sa crystal, why should the dualist/bd still have to pay with the risk of failing?
because then they'd have a free +4 weapon. everyone else would QQ about the need to risk OE.
so whats better? of 8 classes 1 QQ or of 8 classes 7 QQ?
The easiest solution would obviously be to put +4 on all weapons. But I guess some ppl would cry then too.
I dont use duals never did always thought it was stupid that you had to risk your weapon to SA it. But i guess anything under S grade its not really a big deal because i break D-A weapons all the time when im bored and have a nice collection of OE items.
Anyways my question is why give us 10 ews with this package if you cant saftly enchant anything past 3? Do you want us to break our weapons and buy more lmao... cuz me im not going to be able to resist 7 ews sitting in my bags. With the amount of dual answers about this safe enchant question I think we deserve a straight answer about if these scrolls act like blessed scrolls or not.

NCsoft has released FTP missing 10 days for the launch (11/30/2011), announced promotional packages for 30 days before the purchase, and only now at the last moment warned about opening the new server Shilen, that is expected to donate all the package only after special to announce the opening of the new server! the coins will be returned to those who bought the package that was released to the announcement of the FTP server again?
I like how I check the forums for the faq when I bought the destiny pack on day 1 it said the vesper weapon couldnt be blown up, I login not checking the forums only to see that they revised it and now my item is gone after attempting +4....they really need to get their info straight before releasing it and then having to revise it...I dont have time to scan the forums 24/7 in case they change their mind on something

Same I have my sword at +4 trying for =5 and it blew up. Also its the only reason I wasted money was to get those the Destiny weapon and to try and get that other one.
Im very very disappointed in how they handle this unless I missed it some where that said HEY GUYS the FAQ was revised please look over it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Because of the level 81 requirement to use dual daggers, we have switched this Vesper Weapon of Destiny to a usable one. Now, all rogue-type classes will receive the Vesper Shaper of Destiny. We've updated the website page to reflect this.
The Destiny enchant scrolls are regular: there is a risk of breaking the weapon after +3, and if you break it the weapon returns to +0.
The weapon given to Human Fighters is the Vesper Cutter of Destiny.

huh? they already stated what you will get as your wep and how you will get it before you could get the item. Its a S rank weapon not a R rank. Also it was a Bonus item if you order the Destiny pack before GoD goes live and all the weapons had Earth on them
The main issue that people are very upset is that they made like last minute changes from the weps will only reset to +0 if fail to weps will go poof....with out making it notice that there was changes since people normally read the info once our twice. Then there still that post Sace saying that weps will only revert to +0 that hasnt been edited or removed
ofc but it wasnt written in shop in start of this packege...so if i know this condition about preawake pack i wouldnt buy it and wait...
The pack had both S grade items and R grades items. It listed everything what was in the packs and the Wep was a Vespen a S grade wep. FAQ was only over the bonus item which was the Vespen wep that you had to order the Destiny pack before the 28th or 29th (not sure which was the cut off date)
Also they would be alot more junk in that window. Again it was posted in the FAQ how this would work before they allowed the pack to be sold then after (not sure how long) X time they open the shop to sell this item. Yes it wasnt listed right there but still it was a bonus item for people to have.

I read the FAQ and im only saying is a freaking fail by nc soft to give us normal scrolls and non tradable by dimensional merchant weapon when u paid real money for it, we didnt paid adena and get some cry if the weapon brokes, no instead u paid real money and get nothing in game. That's the FAIL.

No, you paid real money for the destiny pack, the weapons of destiny are just a limited time frame bonus. To enchant the weapon was your decision, you took the risk to OE the weapon and surely have know the consequences of fail. It's common in the modern world to blame others for own fails. Stop QQ

As the others said all this was specified in the description so you took the risk of purchasing it and it failed, so you want to blame others for your risk taking.

Its really unfair:
I bough 2 Destiny packs to have higher chance to enchant Destiny duals to +4. (not for OE but to HAVE SA)
But both duals broke from +3 to +4.
ALL WEAPONS HAVE SA EXCEPT DUALS! WHY?

Yes when I read it and decided to buy the pack it said reset at 0. Then because I have a life and dont read the site daily, I miss the change. I try to go to +4 and BAM breaks. GG NCSOFT....
I had the same problem ... the enchants dont say that it will blow up after +3 and why give you 10 enchant scrolls that cannot be used on anything else?

To give a weapon at all was stupid but they did and to change what they from what they said originally was ignorant.
Also you cant trade teh scrolls and each person only got 10 so how OP could u make it? I failed once at 4 that leaves me 6 scrolls is +6 that OP or even plus 10 when you only have 150 element. So your argument about clans making these uber weapons is ignorant also......

LOL? Please explain to me who u will trade scrolls or weapon when both re untradeable?? S weapon +10 150 earth o ye it will be more powerfull than S80 with 300 att or R grade, pls read againt the FAQ, and that if u get enough luck to overenchant it to +10, dont forget if they made the scrolls "blessed" still to be a chance to get +0 weapon even if u have 100 scrolls, but they know the ppl buy the pack for the weapon and they did that to us rly dissapointing.

+1 GF ncwest do it more times and u will see how alot of players leave ur shop and u dont get any money cuz ppl see they dont have any warranty for the items they bought, no sense pls think about it and do something, that just started and ncwest its at time to restet that stupid issue

Don't do that, I have a friend that got banned cause his Credit Card was stolen and the NCSoft transaction was charged back (talking about p2p) and it was NOT easy getting unbanned.
I dont care enough to do that. What I will do is not take NC West at thier word again and refrain from buying from them and if that means find a new MMO to keep from being left behind then so be it.....
