Remaining Specters of Light and Fragments of Light may still be used. Remember, Specters of Light may still evolve even if no Fragments of Light are pushed into it; rewards can be obtained from the Specter of Light without using the agathion.
A possible fix to the server lag issues is being implemented. The servers will be closely monitored upon being opened to the public to confirm the fix.

Um, I think you read higher as lower.
It clearly says you have to be lvl 20 or higher to use all, shout, and trade. But since you did not understand that part it is made more simple by saying you must be ATLEAST lvl 20 to use them. Clear enough? Good.

Only for ppl who will still awake? Cuz Aeore healers dont have an "light armor mastery", we have a "superior armor mastery'' which gives us effects "X" using robe and "Y" using light. Are you gonna modifier this skills so the effects of light set is no longer applied? I have invested a lot in light set so I HOPE the "superior armor mastery" skill is not modified.

No ones before 20 should need any of those functions. it only takes like 30 mins maybe 45 if you go for coffee to get to level 20. i do however think the bots have programs to get to 20. i see 8 dwarfs with "hdgfjkjkd" names standing at the quest npcs in the exact same spot. This is a good start though.
Please put petition system back in game. or if its supposed to be there its not on chronos. Please look into level 55-60 Daily quest. i have been trying to do this all week and it wont let me. In the 40-85 manual in inventory it says this is daily not a 1 time quest. or perhaps tell me why i cant do it then i just move on my merry way.:(

If you do not follow this step by some continuous bans of those who are shouting RMT, they will need only 2 hours to have a bunch of characters lvl 20 to shout, once again.

Sounds normal the adjustment for healer/summoner since now...some +15% casting bonus sets are at 2 parts plus especially healers were intended to use robes ^^

No, it's the other way around.
If you're in the UTC-6 time zone, the second castle siege on Sunday started at 20:00 for you. Now it will start at 19:00.
If you're in the UTC-5 time zone, the same siege started at 21:00 for you; now it will be 20:00.
In other words, the sieges (and everything else related to the local server time) will happen an hour earlier, not later.
Also, you still didn't write if the Bartz server time will follow any daylight saving time switching schedule, and if yes, which one.

it doesnt matter, wizard spirit is better than arcane power, even better at higher lvl. i never had empowering echo but it should be traded for something better at higher lvl, hopefully. the damage/debuff skills, good luck landing those on lvl 95+
about fixing light armor mastery, i must say, ahahaha. you have no room to complain, it was a bug and you knew it will be fixed. even on my healer sub i never intended to get light armor when i hit r-grade, seems like the right choice.

Yes, I play healer. Yes, I have old light mastery. Yes, I dont mind deleting it. But yes, I mind why one class will lose skill and others dont. Shouldnt it be fair to all to follow your argument "use awakened skills as it was intended by game design"?
Btw why are you so happy about chat restriction for toons under lvl 20. Did you read the sentence to the end? Sace said lvl 20. Have you tried to do lvl 20? Do you really think that few minutes of lvling will prevent it? :-)

Where on earth do you live? ADSL should easily support ~8-9mbps which is way more than you need for P2P connection not to affect your speeds at all.
Personally I PREFER P2P connection just because they are the fastest thing you can get and I always top my connection speed using one of these, 11MB/s downloads ftw. P2P is a great feature to enchance users experience as internet speeds are constantly increasing. It's a win/win scenario as users gets maximum download speed while companies relief pressure from their update server.

First off, where I live doesn't matter. Not everyone has your uber connection even in the same country, especially since distance to your ISP actually affects your speed also.
All I care about is that I have had this thing on my pc and it slowed down my connection so much that any online game was UNPLAYABLE. Why should I host files for NCsoft or any other game company and then I can't even play the game I host for them ?
About RMT seller it would be fun to censor the url of the websites they advertise. So even if they create a new toon they still wont be able to advertise the website. And the website it's not like saying ad3na instead of adena.

download p2p is 1 thing, but i dont want this software uploading L2 Game files to other users, using my b/w i have 250KB/s upload speed, and 1.5MB/s download, the fibre in my area in UK isnt on yet. also it dont even matter, i know for a fact u wont wannabe uploading L2 game files @ 1MB/s to other users as that would effect your game play

This wont stop RMT spammers tho, as they already do the lowbie quests to farm easy money so they will be 38 and easily avoid the low limit

If it was only THAT simple... Pando is a program by itself, forces you to install on your system and STAYS ACTIVE after it has done it's work. And I surely don't wanna uninstall & shotdown PDM each time I launch L2...

hehehe, there are alot of ppl getting aweful excited here......but keep in mind...this is NCSoft we are talking about here....me , myself arent gonna get excited or thank anyone till i see it with my own eyes ( remember 2 weeks ago Wed Maint when all they were suppose to do was remove the event fragments from dropping and they ended up screwing up the shots ) so yeah ...you guys get excited......talk is cheap....when i see real results...thats when ill be happy. Funny, a new player starts the game for the first time, gets some lag, item issue, wtv crap u get when u just login to a new game, they see tons of chars 85+ on TI shouting crap but... they cannot say a word. They cant ask for help, can't ask anything about the game until they already worked it out and are lvl 20. Funny.
About healer skill, yeah a "we will change it "line last week would have been nice. I will laugh my ***** of at naked healers in town. Specially on the new servers. U make no pts to test those "bugs", then u randomly "fix" one of them (leaving many others) without a warning "hey, get back to robes or your cast will go down to 0".
btw, healers ARE intended to wear light too if they want, they get light armor mastery since the dark ages... funny thing healers never got to use it till this update, now no more light, waste of SP only.

PMB should be optional to install, i dont need this crap since i have good download speed

the isssue with lag is due to the amount of players on the server. When there are less than 4500 players on chronos there is no Soul shot lag or any other lag.

I think is one fail again.. becuse after this the Party Matching Window will be full of bots lvl 1 with party window... this is more sux from shout and trade chat... :/
Looks like a good maintenance. People complaining about the fixes are morons - probably the same morons that want random CAPTCHA codes to pop up during the game to stop botters. :rolleyes:
Only negative is the Pando Media Booster. I wasn't happy about that being included in League of Legends - but with them I could remove it without issue. If it is compulsory, it's a little unfair on your customers to force them to run P2P software to play the game.
Time to time i am playing l2 from mobile internet connection and i can playit without lag and stuff BUT!! when Pando Media Booster will run than this will nonstop upload data and so no more internet connection when i pass the monthly data limit (UP+DOWN) so ad an option to disable that stupid program who don't needs it.
We would like to apologize for the server latency issues players are currently experiencing across all worlds. The fix that was implemented with the emergency maintenance on 1/13 did not fully resolve the issue. I worked at mcdonalds 10years ago, and even back then you never flipped burgers... the grill closes on it and cooks it on both sides. FAIL

Just an FYI for the Pando Media Booster complainers - there is a settings panel for it within your control panel where you can reduce its bandwidth usages to effectively 0, tell it not to start when Windows loads etc.
To my recollection, you can basically cripple it to doing nothing by tweaking with the settings. Although I'm not sure what effect this would have on updating your client - I'd have to test it (I'm at work at the moment).

It says it is deleted when you awaken, not in general or on awakened toons who already have it. Can't you read?

Yes so you set it to 100% for update then you switch to 0% bandwith and problem solved ppl can stop QQing.

Bug fix: When a character Awakens as an Aeore Healer or a Wynn Summoner, the Light Armor Mastery skill is now deleted. This is to prevent players from retaining the overpowered fast casting speed and to encourage them to move on to the Awakened skill, Superior Armor Mastery, as was intended by game design.
Why only when awaken? And Wynn Summoners already don't have old Light Mastery after awaken.

Funny, a new player starts the game for the first time, gets some lag, item issue, wtv crap u get when u just login to a new game, they see tons of chars 85+ on TI shouting crap but... they cannot say a word. They cant ask for help, can't ask anything about the game until they already worked it out and are lvl 20. Funny.
About healer skill, yeah a "we will change it "line last week would have been nice. I will laugh my ***** of at naked healers in town. Specially on the new servers. U make no pts to test those "bugs", then u randomly "fix" one of them (leaving many others) without a warning "hey, get back to robes or your cast will go down to 0".
btw, healers ARE intended to wear light too if they want, they get light armor mastery since the dark ages... funny thing healers never got to use it till this update, now no more light, waste of SP only.

You just cant cap your cast speed in light, while not being anywhere close to being able to in robes.
I think its time to fix the wizards now, there are 5 classes awaken to wizard and only sts has empowering echo the other 4 classes don't even have the choice so while the rest of the mages have about 12-15k m.attack, sts with echo and arcane can easily reach 2 or even 3 times that m.attack. That isn't a bug, that is what the game suppose to be?! With the skill reuse now the casting speed is not making any difference to the rest of the mages and with the cap at 1999 sts can reach that too anyway. Who cares if the rest have better crit rate, compared to the damage sts is doing now with echo+arcane is like he crits every nuke.
I am waiting for a GM reply on that issue. If NC will never have the intention to fix that at least let us know that our wizards are worthless so we can delete the chars we have for years and start from 0 leveling a spellhowler.
I'm happy to see you guys attempt to fix the bots spamming in towns, but just because you don't see them spamming away doesn't mean that the problem is fixed. There is still a huge problem with botting in the game, and there has been since closed beta.
Are there any plans to compensate for coins spent on xp runes? After server maintenance last week I used a 7 day nevit rune not knowing that I couldn't log in at times, and when I did my soulshots wouldn't work. I feel like I got ripped off like some kinda pyramid scheme! I'd say I got to use about half of what I intended to payed for....

He is right actually, the game is changing. It's a change specific to NA/EU/Russia, all the other territories went through GoD (some even through Harmony) with 1999 cspeed healers in light.
Doesn't mean I disagree with it, I don't, it was a dumb "feature" but since they are intervening in that way they should also force delete all the other skills, not just healer ones. Archer rapid shot, duelists' duelist spirit, mage empowering, etc etc. It's kinda random deleting one skill from one class and letting others keep theirs.

You mean to tell me that trading your skills that u can not undo it is completely normal especially since there was no pts to test anything and that no other skills were removed from the game. Where is enlightment? Its normal for new skills not to be superior to old skills?
I guess its ok for u to just read a discription (that are not that accurate btw) and make a decision that will make or break the toon u had for years. Reading what a skill does is not cutting it for me, u can read a skill does fear e.g. the text doesn't say to u that u will never land it.

As far as I know it is not a bug. In Korea they already have new update and nothing was changed about light armor mastery for healers. They will change it in the other update which maybe is, maybe not yet on PTS in Korea.
To be honest, I am not extra happy they will delete it, but on other hand I dont care much. I definitely not QQ. WHat I dont like is the attitude of NCsoft to this. Saying it is a bug and delete it. There isnt any logic explanation for this statement.

Yep but, for example, the iron aura give pdef/patk to party and it's not indicated on the description.

Question 1: since you left the server timezone up to the players after letting everyone roll blindly onto a server, are you giving free full transfers from shilen since it started as a us timezone and will end up being a euro timezone?
Question 2: I remember back in the day when you merged all servers to chronos and naia, it was stated that no past server names could be used (many, many people wanted the new euro server to be called teon still). The NCsoft staff let us know it was physically impossible to name a new server one of the older server names. The old light armor mastery without the penalty in the passive was a bug, this should have been fairly obvious to anyone that had tried both light and robes on healer prior to GoD. The easy fix for NCsoft was to autoremove old light armor mastery instead of adding the penalty to it.
As for the STS skills you keep or turn in for new ones, I do not believe that is a bug. The new skills are both skills that lower your mp usage, and the old ones increase the mp usage. Seems like a fair trade off.

rerolled to an dark elven archer on Shilen. Hyperlite is still a 85 and 100% dreadnought on chronos :-) Kind of hopeing some sort of server transfer comes up.

They also changed the sleep cast time from c4. Was that a change on the game mechanics or a fix? Bcos as far as I can see it was a change of the game mechanics from one chronicle to another. Same here.
Also changed the lethal of stabs to be only half-kill. Again, chronicle change. :rolleyes:
Each chronicle has a different balance of classes. Adding a change of a new chronicle to an old one unbalances it. If you don't believe me, check every **** private server on the last 5 years and how they changed every skill ten thousand times until they settled back to the chronicle they were in.

Ok now I'm looking at the screenshots I took at the beginning of GoD when I decided whether I should keep Emp Echo or not:
lvl 86 Feoh with +3 Icarus, Moirai robes, +4INT, +4WIT, event buffs -
6806 MAtk normally; 8481 MAtk with Emp Echo.
I haven't tested it with Arcane Power since I never ever used it (and lived without it just fine).
So, Emp Echo gives ~25% to MAtk which equals to ~12% damage increase.
In practice though, this effect is pretty much negligible: a nuker's gameplay has changed since GoD so much that the outcome of PvP or PvE is defined by completely different factors now: sometimes you crit on almost every nuke 1-shotting everything, and sometimes it takes 10-12 nukes to kill a random mob just because nukes MISS several times in a row. Believe me, when your most powerful nuke misses or fails a few times thus putting your overall damage output down to zero, you will forget about extra %% of damage that you could potentially squeeze from having Emp Echo on.

This 15% cast speed on LA should have never been there but no-one complained because healers aparently werent owning the oly. im guessing they are now and some people dont like it. Here i was just thinking they cast so fast if they are ELF. If in turn the 15% actually works now (dont believe it did before) remove from the LA mastery earlier like level 40 when it is given to them.

Btw why are you so happy about chat restriction for toons under lvl 20. Did you read the sentence to the end? Sace said lvl 20. Have you tried to do lvl 20? Do you really think that few minutes of lvling will prevent it? :-)

I wanna point out that wynn summoners never kept their light armor mastery to begin with, not here, not in innova.

i normally use mobile broadband for internet connection. and i normally i have a restrition to use 2 gb max or my internet speed will decrease from 2mb to 256kb.. so with that in mind since GoD i have internet at 4gb max and 4mb speed..
with peer2peer on i believe my consupsion will incrise! so i hope that will be a way to turn off that panda thing

the time that they post is when its gonna start,not end....
in your case,maint started at 13:00,its a 6h maint that means it gonna work for you at 19:00...
Excuse me but, is the server maintenance done ? Coz actually each time i try to log in, just after i enter my password got a message saying "you have been disconnected from the server, please login again". And nothing else happens. I tried several times, and on an other computer too, and still got the same message.

*New* All Soulshot and Blessed Spiritshot Packs (found in the Exploration Packs) have been changed from tradable to non-tradable, as it was observed in past weeks that these items were popular among RMT traders (who were subsequently banned). It is also for this reason that it was not possible to release this information beforehand.
Due to technical difficulties, the maintenance window is being extended by one hour so we can work on resolving the issue without players having to experience repeated crashes. We'll get the servers back online and working ASAP!
Sace, can you please tell us, why did L2 team transferred those free tranfers, but didn't transferred 2-3 months old transfers, which ppl bought and paid already? I know, that acount services are stopped, but those transfers was applied on accounts and they are just in "pending" status and people actually waiting for that, what they paid. :confused:

You do NOT make items untradable in a game which has its own economy.
In the last months I have used a buyshop to buy arround 250 Large RSS Packs and they are totally useless now as I am a mage. I bought them to resell or give to my friends, now you waste me about 400 MILLION adena and they are forced to rot in the warehouse.
I will be waiting for compensation in adena or tradable Soulshot packs, Thank you.

You mean that RMT are using dollars to buy NCcoins in order to buy exploration package, in order to sell soulshot/blessed spiritshot package for adena, in order to sell adena for dollars ???
Who could ever have that kind of logic ? Plus, those package are usally cheapper than buying normal soulshot, so what's the point ?

and what about all the people who bought these packs knowing the items were tradable between all of their buffers/etc and now they arent?
i dont see how ncsoft thinks its ok to change a product peolple are purchasing with real life cash. good luck keeping customers going this route. i know about 9-10 people who are stuck with a TON of ss or bsps that cant trade it now to their buffer unless they did it before this ninja edit. a heads up warning would have at least been nice.

Why would you buy 250 Large SSR packs? Mentee Certificates work fine to get a nice amount of shots. Plus you buy 1-2 to give to friends not 250.
There should be an NPC in which you could trade your SSR to BSSR and vice versa since they are non tradable.
after this maintenance i can't update the game.. it hangs on 95% or 100% but game never starts? anyone else have this problem? maybe you guys have some idea what's wrong? couse i don`t :/
There are no NPC's on every server, everytime they put the NPC server online everything went down. I'm sure they are working on it. The only reason the server is online right now is to stop the little kids from crying.

and it really sux. The download speed didn't improved at all, decreased from 5000-6000 kbps to 900 kbps, cuz the are no "seed-er's"......Do smt about that.

Maintenance this week was set for 6 hours. Yes, there were some problems and it took them almost 7h30m... Happens more often with NC. Just relax and get used to it...
I find it ridiculous that you are taking a broken game AND applying even more changes to it before even stabilizing the previous changes. Even your junior programmers should've seen it coming, let alone your seniors and management.
You'll ruin this game down to 1/10th of the population if you don't get your things in order. It's a shame, because you have a great game in your hands, just can't manage it right.
I'm glad to hear that you are banning RMT sellers (if indeed you are), but I fail to see how anyone could make money with it. If someone wanted those shots, why not just buy them directly from l2store instead of going through a RMT? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Giving a heads up to this would have benefited the RMT which they did this change in order to punish/stop them. That's why they claimed the defense of "Security Reasons".
Also just like if there is an exploit that is going to be fixed, they aren't going to explain or announce what the specific exploit is till after maybe they fixed it. They would only mention the changes.

As announced previously (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/community/bartz-server-time-to-change.php), the Bartz server's time zone setting changes from GMT-6 (Central Time USA) to GMT-5 (Eastern Time USA). Henceforth, all scheduled system activities (such as Castle Sieges, daily quest reset times, instanced zone re-enter times, etc.) will begin one hour later than previously.
On Chronos and Naia, the Tersi's Light (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/tersis-light.php) event ends. Tersi's Light Agathions, Fragments of Light and Specters of Light are removed from the game. All rewards remain in the game.
On Shilen, Magmeld and Bartz, Tersi's Light Agathions are removed from the game, the Priest of Blessing no longer gives Tersi's Light Agathions, and the Tersi's Light (http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/tersis-light.php) event enters its final stage in which Fragments of Light no longer drop from monsters. Remaining Specters of Light and Fragments of Light may still be used. Remember, Specters of Light may still evolve even if no Fragments of Light are pushed into it; rewards can be obtained from the Specter of Light without using the agathion.
A possible fix to the server lag issues is being implemented. The servers will be closely monitored upon being opened to the public to confirm the fix.

To ameliorate the issue of RMT/Adena spam in-game, chat restrictions have been applied to the game. The chat channels "All," "Shout" and "Trade" are now restricted to characters level 20 or higher. "Whisper" is possible but a future maintenance should make it so that it is only possible in reply form. This change is meant to be temporary and it may be altered or removed in the future.
Bug fix: If your character has a Melody or Saha buff in place, your pet will no longer repeatedly cast its buffs on you.
Bug fix: When a character Awakens as an Aeore Healer or a Wynn Summoner, the Light Armor Mastery skill is now deleted. This is to prevent players from retaining the overpowered fast casting speed and to encourage them to move on to the Awakened skill, Superior Armor Mastery, as was intended by game design.

Look when i open the launcher it request me download the update to pando media booster....and after that give me a error unknown....and dont let me play!!!! please i need help about it...!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused:
