What you need in this game is to find a way to have fun, despite the botting and cheating that goes on under your watch. Otherwise, it's better to not return at all.
What has something to do with NCWest is the botting and cheating (ask Colorado about his adventures with the Game Surveillance Unit). This means that as an upright citizen opf Aden and Elmore you can not participate in the in-game economy. Each time you sell something at the current inflated prices you are supporting Real Money Traders - most of the adena on our servers has been bought for dollars somewhere along the line. Each time you buy materials you are supporting botters - most of the materials on our servers have been acquired by automated farming. But this does not mean that you can not play the game. Just find a hobby. Like for example make it to 85 as a Mentee so that you get the free R-Grade equipment, and then you can spend the next 10 years farming the Giants' Energies for a Talisman of Longing via the Olympiad participation quest: http://boards.lineage2.com/showthread.php?t=241561

The fact that there are objectively fewer bots on Innova.eu means that if the theory holds true the economy on their servers should collapse long before ours :D
If you are back to this game, the most important information, in old days the bot allow people to PvE only, in this days the bot is more inteligent and can PvE and PvP. The relation of bots x players still the same, the diference, 2~3 years ago bots need pay to play, in this days bot is trully free.
Same gaming experience as when you left... different skins, revamped locations, skills all twisted and races "re-balanced", economy over inflated and players QQing about everything.
It's been about a year and a half for me personally since being away from L2. We all leave for different reasons, and return for the same. I find, the same whining, the same attitude, and the same illegal activities. But, that's with most gaming isn't it?
If you happen to be a casual gamer, the game has changed enough where you can level quickly, and not stress over the need for over inflated gear (Use the freebie stuff). It's about relaxing. L2, isn't reality and to those that make it so, whens the last time, you took a shower?
population is fine, but at least we are not fighting with bots, pvp scripters, RMT crap lag and poor staff performance
