You're focusing on 1vs1 PvP or mass PvP like sieges and such?
My opinion:
Duelist has better survivability, because of the Master of Combat passive (-35% critical damage when using Heavy, which helps a lot especially versus daggers or yuls. Some could argue about Half-Kill, but if you use some Anti-Half-Kill passive talismans from instances, it diminishes A LOT the chance of being half-killed), and because they have better HP and CP, and because they are the only class which has a passive to increase their damage when using DualSwords (Tyrr's best weapon if you go for R-Grade or beyond, because they are the only weapons with Health SA).
But Damage-wise, I think the Titan wins. The Duelist has has a lot of damage, and their specific attack skills are nice, but a Titan with Guts and Frenzy on overcomes that damage, I think. Not sure on that.
Kinda getting back into the swing of things, and trying to learn as much as I can, and I had a question regarding your last comment:
When you Ascend to Tyrr Warrior from Duelist, you get different skills then when you Ascend to Tyrr Warrior from Titan? This is kind of what I have gathered from what some other people have been saying on the forums, but I just wanted to confirm it so I am certain I understand.
Also, is there any site you could reference with what class gets what abilities after being Ascended?

I'd say Titan is better. Guts skill gives you 200% pdef and 90%(?) debuff resist, which is VERY good against physical classes, you become immortal against them. Guts can be used against mage classes for the debuff resist. In PvE , Titan is way better than duelist, you can't discuss about that. Rage skill gives you 25% p atk and frenzy skill is just IMBA
P.S. : They have mastery for spears and dual handed blunts/swords which is good in aoe AND 1on1.
